"Y/N? Y/N???" There was a pause of silence, "Y/N, I know you're not dead, you're still breathing."

BJ floated right above me, his face only inches from mine. I opened my eyes slowly, then looked right into his. I gasped and got ready to scream, but duct tape magically came over my mouth.

"Don't scream! I'm sorry!" BJ backed up, floating beside my bed and the duct tape was gone in a flash.

"What are you doing here?" I whisper yelled, jumping when Delia turned over, still sleeping. "I didn't order a wake up call!"

BJ looked at my digital clock, squinting at it, "well you only have 5 more minutes before your alarm goes off."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "how do you know when I wake up?"

"I know everything, babes."

"BJ, again with the name!"

My alarm suddenly went off, scaring me half to death.

"How... It hasn't been 5 minutes!"

"Time moves differently when you're dead. But boy, does it move."

"I'm not dead." I turned off my alarm, sighing irritability.

"Well, then time moves when you're talking to a dead guy."

I stood up, turning on my lamp, which dimly lit the room. I stretched, hearing my back pop a couple times, before looking at BJ, who was now leaning against the wall casually.

"How long have you been dead, anyway?"

"Long enough to have lived through the black plague. I've been scaring for millennia."

"A thousand years? Are you sure?"

"As sure as I'll ever be."

Little did I know, me and BJ's conversation woke Delia up. She sat up, confused but still sleepy.

"Who are you talking to?" She asked groggily.

I froze and looked at her, then at BJ. "Uhm..."

"A thousand years? I like that song." She yawned between the sentence, then laid back down and fell right back to sleep.

"She's so weird." BJ mumbled, looking at her confused. "Anyway, get ready."

I rolled my eyes, "so demanding. I'm going to take a shower, so don't follow me or I'll send you back to hell."

BJ rolled his eyes, "it's called the Netherworld, now hurry up!"

"What?" I looked back at him after grabbing my clothes.

"I'll tell you later, go go go." He pushed me to the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

I rolled my eyes and turned the shower on, letting the water get warm. I took my time showering, letting him wait a little longer.

I finally walked out of the bathroom and was really confused by what I saw.

BJ had his face in his hands, looking like he was ready to die - if that were possible. And Delia was putting on her makeup, not a care in the world, while completely ignoring BJ, who was shouting at her. When BJ stopped yelling, I heard the song A Thousand Years by Christina Perri playing from Delia's phone. I looked at BJ with a questioning look.

"Make her stop! She's been playing this on repeat!" He motioned to her, right as the song started again.

"I'm not doing that!" I said to BJ. He rolled his eyes and groaned, then disappeared in a faint puff of green smoke.
