"What if you really can defy gravity? Like... What if you can just fly and walk as you please."

"I don't know."

"Do you think people are really green?"

"I don't know."

"Wouldn't it be cool if monkeys could actually fly?"

"I don't know, BJ, okay?" I snapped at him, making him pause.

"Oh... Sorry, (Y/N)... I just don't want you to be sad." He said quietly, obviously hurt.

"That's sweet, BJ and thank you, but... I don't know... I'm just tired, okay? I'm gonna go back to my dorm and sleep for a bit."

BJ nodded, not looking at me, "so I'll see you tonight?"

"Yeah. I'll be okay, don't worry."

He looked up at me, nodding softly. "Okay... Goodnight, (Y/N)."

"Goodnight." I turned at walked towards my dorm. I didn't mean to hurt BJ's feelings, but I've been having a bad day and I just needed to rest.

BJ's POV

I watched her walk away. Did she hear my conversation with my mom? I only had a bit of time left with her and she's pushing me away. Is it something I said? Or maybe it was something I did..?

"Bonjour, BJ." I turned to see French Fry walking towards me.

"Bonjour. Uhm...  Comment allez-vous?"

"Bien! I'm doing good, BJ. You're getting better at Français."

I smiled proudly. I had asked Laf for some French lessons after I embarrassed myself with (Y/N) at my failed attempt to flirt in French.

"Only because I had a good teacher." He laughed a bit.

"Merci. How are things with (Y/N)?" He asked, making me blush.

"Uh... Good. Good... All is good."

"Are you sure?" He sounded genuinely concerned. I looked up at him before finally breaking. I told him everything that happened with my mom and how I had to leave. "Wow... So... (Y/N) doesn't know?"

"No..."

"You have to tell her." He pointed out.

"Yeah. No shit. But I don't know how to tell her."

Laf was silent for a bit, before lighting up. "I got it! We find a nice restaurant then tu demandes her on a date."

"I what?"

"Ask her on a date. Spend more time with her and if you really do aime la, you can prove your mom wrong."

"A date..."

"Oui."

"Can you help me? People can't see me... She'd look like she's on a date by herself... This is tricky. I have to-" I paused, causing Lafayette to look curious. "I have to make her say my name." I could feel myself grow mischievous at the thought.

Laf's expression immediately turned concerned. "Maybe this was a mauvaise idée..."

I knew immediately that meant bad idea, because now he seemed panicked.

"No, it's the perfect idea! I gotta go. See ya later, French." I disappeared as I heard Lafayette protesting.

Operation "Say My Name" is a go.
