"We can see dead people." Lafayette deadpanned, making me groan and roll my eyes in annoyance.

"Wait, what? You can?" Adam was calm again, now with a confused look.

Me and Laf shared a confused expression, before nodding.

"Pretty much."

"And his name is... Beetle-"

"No, don't say it!" Me, Laf and BJ shouted at Adam, making him jump.

"Just... Call him BJ."

"Ne pas say his name. You'll regret it." Laf glanced at BJ, who was smirking.

"He still can't see me, you know. Guy doesn't even think I exist." BJ waved his hand in front of Adam's face, who just stared in BJ's direction, though it was nothing but thin air in his perspective.

"Well, can't you do something to make him see? Or to notice you?" Laf questioned BJ curiously, looking between him and Adam.

"Oh, buddy, nothing would thrill me more than to kill Adam right here, right now." He smirked at Adam.

"Wait, hold on! We do not want to kill!"

"WHAT?!"

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Calm your tits, Adam."

"BJ, he can't hear you!" I sighed irritability, thankful we were the only ones in the restaurant.

"Oh shit... Forgot."

"So... Nothing else?" I looked at Adam, who was looking at me like I was crazy. I felt humiliated. What is he going to think of me, now? I just wanted to crawl into the trash can that was next to the kitchen door.

"There is one way..." BJ smiled slyly, making me visibly worried.

"Oh boy..."
