Chapter 11

Jungkook doesn't come back that night and Taehyung isn't complaining. He needs time to process everything that just happened.

Jeon Jungkook, the most homophobic person he knows, just kissed him. On the lips. 

The thought feels so unrealistic that poor little Taehyung has to pinch himself a few times to make sure he isn't having a dream. He just can't believe it, can't wrap his head around what just happened. 

Was Jungkook mocking him? Teasing him? Trying to test him? That is the most plausible answer. Maybe Jungkook was trying to see if he was really gay. I guess he got his answer. Taehyung is horrified. That means he's probably going to bully Taehyung hardcore, now that he has confirmed that he is gay. 

The doe-eyed boy wants to rip his blue strand out off his head. Why was he so stupid? Why did he kiss him back? Taehyung feels so ashamed over the fact that despite all this, he can't stop thinking about the boy's lips, his firm hold on his waist, his...

Taehyung groans before smashing his head against the pillow.

Kim Taehyung, you are officially screwed, He thinks to himself.

Jungkook still isn't back the next morning but despite this, Taehyung still leaves him a plate of food by his bedside table. With the lack of sleep and the weight of thoughts hanging onto his scalp, the blue-haired boy looks absolutely miserable when he steps out of the dorm. 

He decides to take a break today and starts heading to a cafe in the campus. He needs to get his mind off last night's events or he might just end up going crazy. 

Bon Bon Chocolate? Taehyung quirks his eyebrows, fascinated by the weird name. 

"Hi there, what can I get for you today?" Asks a cheery blond girl. Taehyung must admit, she's gorgeous. He can already tell that half the guys in here aren't here for the coffee, but instead for her. 

Taehyung smiles, "Can I please have a pumpkin spice latte? Large size." 

The blond nods with a smile, "Sure, coming right up. That will be $5.30. Eat-in or take-a-way?" 

"Take-a-way please," Taehyung smiles politely. 

A few minutes later, the girl comes back, large coffee in hand. "Here you go..." 

"Taehyung," the blue-haired boy says while smiling. He notices the girl blush and looks away shyly. 

"Uhh, Taehyung, i-if you don't mind, my shift ends in a few minutes, y-you look like a nice guy so-um do you wanna- kinda hang out after?"

Taehyung is shocked, to say the least. His initial thought is to reject her because he can tell, by the bright blush on the girl's face, that she likes him and he definitely doesn't want to lead her on. But then a thought strikes him. Maybe if Jungkook and his friends see him with a girl, they will stop calling him gay. Maybe that way he will stop getting tormented by them.

As selfish as it sounds, Taehyung is desperate to stop the bullying so he agrees. "Sure, um- what's your name?"

"Emily," She says, blushing once again. 

God, she is so cute. Too bad Taehyung likes dick or else he might have really fallen for her adorableness. "Okay, Emily, I'll meet you out here in 5." 

Emily nods excitedly. "O-okay, see ya, I hope you enjoy your coffee."

"WAIT, WHAT?" Emily shrieks, causing Taehyung to slam a hand over her mouth. The two sit near the school fountain, chatting away about everything and nothing. Taehyung likes Emily. She is funny and bubbly and absolutely adorable. She's also a tad bit loud.
