Harper woke up to the sound of somebody crying, it was too soft for someone to hear but Harper has always been a light sleeper.

He blinked his eyes, glancing at Jack who was snoring and dozing off beside him---his friend, totally lost and dead to the world.

He rose from the bed and heaved a sigh, glancing at the other person who was in the room. It was the stranger who was quietly sobbing and shaking---clearly woken up by a nightmare.

The other was rocking himself back and forth, his head hidden between his arms and legs.

Harper decided to stand up, quietly approaching the raven who has his back turned on him. He gently touched the other's forearm, the other quickly flinching from his gesture.

Sonny turned his head, the stranger's eyes widening, almost screaming but Harper covered his mouth.

"It's okay, it's just me." The stranger was a bit rattled but he gradually relaxed. Harper removed his hand, not sure of what to do next.

Jack has always been a better comforter between the two of them.

The pair shared a moment of silence, only Jack's snores heard on the cramped motel room.

"I dreamt about him." The stranger begun, Harper nodding his head, silently telling the other he was listening.

"He was smirking at me, laughing manically as he begun to touch me." The raven wrapped his shaking hands around his torso, biting his lips and closing his eyes. "It was piercing my ears and his touch felt like I was burning... Then, i saw the knife and I stabbed him."

"I stabbed him so many times, until he stopped laughing." The other begun sobbing again and he covered his face with his hands. Harper closed his eyes, sighing as he lit another cigarette.

"You should be happy. He won't ever do that again because you already killed him." The stranger sniffed, letting the tears fall as he fiddled with the sheets over his lap.

"I can't understand how you are so calm." The stranger spoke, gazing at Harper in confusion. "You're talking with a murderer."

Harper chuckled, his mouth hidden behind the lit cigarette in between his hand.

He puffed some smoke, smiling lightly at the stranger, "Oh, trust me, that's the least of my concern right now."
