Brooklyn woke up to an unfamiliar warmth on his bare torso. He slowly opened his tired eyes, drowsily losing his sleepiness and exhaustion.

He slowly blinked his irises, them widening when suddenly he was welcomed by a rugged man's face so close to his own.

The other was snoring lightly, Brooklyn could literally feel the other's breath brushed against his cheeks. He jolted up, making the man shift on his position, turning his body around the other direction but he continued sleeping.

Brooklyn immediately covered himself up, eyes darting across his surroundings. He was welcomed by two more people sleeping on the other side of the room---a man with long hair was laying on the couch while the the other was sleeping on a single bed.

His gaze focused on the broken lampshade on the floor and everything sunk in. His memory from last night etching back to his brain.

Brooklyn had a manic episode last night---reminding him how it was already two weeks since he had last taken his medication. He groaned, rubbing both his palms over his face, ashamed.

He definitely own an apology to these three strangers that had the heart and patience for a fucked up like him.

His ears perked up, his head moving to the side when he heard quiet whimpers. The raven man who was sleeping on the single bed was slightly thrashing around under the sheets.

He was clearly having a nightmare, Brooklyn knowing the feeling as they usually haunt him almost every night.

He rose up from the bed, slowly approaching the distressed man.

"N-no, stop. Please don't..." he heard the raven begged, mumbling from his sleep.

Brooklyn gently ruffled the other's hair, quietly humming a calming tune. His big brother, Andy, used to this every time he had nightmares when they were kids.

He reckoned it might worked on the other because it was always effective on him.

And, it did. He saw the raven man's furrowed brows began to relax, his tensed body began easing out.

Brooklyn smiled once he heard the other breathed in and out, eyes still closed lulling back to a pleasant dream.

He decided to stand up, aiming to go find his missing top but he met eyes with the long-haired man who he remembered almost punched him last night.

The man was just staring at him, arm crossed over the other.

Brooklyn looked down, gazing at the scars and burns engraved all over his torso blankly.

"I'm sorry for my behavior last night," he spoke out.

"All in the past." the other said, raising an arm and shrugging.

"Thank you for taking care of me as well. I don't deserve your kindness."

"Don't tell that to me. It's those two idiots over there who really took care of you."

The other man pointed out to the two sleeping men and Brooklyn nodded his head.

"I'm Harper, by the way." the long-haired boy spoke, getting up and reaching for a black plain shirt that was hanging over the couch. "The raven beside you is Sonny and the snoring doofus over there is Jack."

"I'm Brooklyn. But, just call me Brook."

Harper nodded, quickly wearing the top over his head, "Sorry for almost punching you, Brook."

Brook laughed albeit, shaking his hand in the air, "No offense taken. Honestly, I think I deserve it."

"Glad we could agree on that," Harper grinned, a teasing tone etched over his voice.

The long-haired boy got up, saluting his hand as he excused himself to the bathroom. Brooklyn smiled and nodded, climbing back over to the bed where Jack was sleeping. Harper threw a black hoodie over his way, telling him to wear it.

Brooklyn thanked the other, wearing the oversized hoodie over his bare chest. He played with the hem of the sweatshirt, waiting for the others to wake up.
