Yamaris:

When Charles texted me asking to go on a date tonight, I was pretty ecstatic. We hadn't seen each other since the beginning of the week and I was starting to miss him.

Although he texted me and sent photos of him bonding with his grandson, Bowen, I really wanted to hang out and get back to our usual schedule. Three nights a week and every other Saturday was our arrangement and we had become slack. I was going to get my monthly stipend either way, but it would still be nice to do the fun parts of the job like going out.

He liked my natural curls and when we went on personal dates, I made sure to keep that in mind. Even with my hair being pulled into a ponytail on top of my head, some of my curls fell down to frame my face.

My makeup would be light for tonight's date, with me only applying some gold eyeshadow and black eyeliner. To make the look 'pop', I applied some cherry lipgloss and some light lashes. My outfit was equally as simple: a grey t-shit dress and some red converse sneakers.

We were going to see It Chapter Two but I was honestly a little scared to watch it. Clowns were one of my biggest fears but I didn't want to ruin his excitement. There were no other good movies out anyway. Once I texted him that I was on my way, he instantly replied that he'd meet me at the theatre. The 10:30PM show was going be packed, so it was good to know he bought our tickets in advance.

Everyone was already out doing their own things so there was nobody to bother me when I left the house. The AMC theatre was only about 10 minutes away from my house and as soon as I pulled up, I found a spot close to Charles' BMW.

Thankfully he saw me pulling in and walked over to my car as soon as I went into park. Per usual, he opened my door and helped me out of my car before greeting me.

"Good evening, Juiselle." His smooth lips kissed my cheek cause me to smile.

"You know you only have to call me that when we're out with your friends, babe." Our fingers interlocked as we walked inside. The early September chill was beginning to set in and I started to regret wearing a dress.

"Yeah I know, but it's more fun this way. I'm glad we finally got a chance to meet up again."

"Me too. Congratulations again on Bowen, he's adorable." He weighed 10lbs and 4oz upon delivery and Sarah did it all naturally. Logan and I were both big babies and I knew Bee would not be looking forward to that.

"That's my grandson, Bowen Charles Knight. I can't believe he's so big! Let's just focus on us for tonight, though, okay? I just want to spend some time with you." He flashed his phone to the ticket handler and led me straight to the concession stand.

"Understood. I want the large nachos and a slushy." My phone vibrated in my hand and it was a message from Harlem. I opened up the message and saw a photo of himself and two smiling kids.

Harlem: Meet Dana and Dallas. I can't wait to get home and tell you about my day :)
