Yes, Captain || A Marvel AU - Steve Rogers

Prologue

Amara Forbes was going about her daily routine. This consists of taking a shower, then going on a run to the local coffee shop down the street that she worked at. Once she got there she quickly put on her uniform, which was just a purple polo shirt. She then put her hair up and went to the counter.

The day was slow as normal. Most people were afraid. No one wanted to accidentally piss off any of the soldiers that stood guard on every street corner.

It used to be worse. The people didn't have as much power as they do now. They weren't allowed to leave their homes unless told to. But the captain in all of this, Steven Grant Rogers, thought the people will be better with a bit more freedom. So slowly after that they began to gain that freedom, but not fully. That's what led to today. Businesses flying up everywhere. People actually smiling without faking it. But there is still the chance of making Steve and his men mad.

"I gave you both one mission!" Steve Rogers yelled at the two henchmen that are sitting in his office before him.

"We're sorry sir," the more scared one, Tim stated, "we will try better next time."

"We won't come back until we can make it up to you," the other one, Jack said.

"Both of you out," Steve demanded.

"Yes Sir." "Bye Sir."

With this that the two of them left.

Amara went outside to take the trash out after her shift. It was the last thing she had to do before she got to leave to go home.

While she was lifting up the last trash bag she heard a dark voice, "this girl should be enough to repay the boss."

Amara dropped the trash bag and turned around to see two guys, "I'm sorry, can I help you guys?" She asked in a nice and quiet tone. She looked at the small emblem on their jackets. After seeing that she knows that they are officers of HYDRA.

Jack gave a dark laugh before walking closer and touching her arm, "we need you to come show our boss some fun."

"I'm sorry, but I can't help you there," Amara stated, "if you want a hooker go two blocks then take a right."

"I'm sorry but the training is the bosses favorite part," Jack says before he grabs the girls arm, "and we don't feel like paying."

Amara knows that she most likely has no choice in this but she also knows she won't go without a fight. She punches the guy holding her straight in the face.

"The captain will have fun with you," Jack said, his eyes turning dark, "cuff her, Tim."

Tim listened to his partner and quickly walked over to them. He then grabbed Amara's arms and forced them behind her back. Not without a fight though. She tried kicking Tim but Jack grabbed her by the neck with a tight grip. After that Tim was able to cuff her. Unlucky for the girl no one dared to try and stop HYDRA officers.

The two officers bring the girl back to the HYDRA base. They went to Steve's office and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Steve asked with a growl.

"It's us, Sir," Jack stated.

"And what could you possibly want this time?" Steve asked annoyed, "did you bring me more failure already."

"No, Sir," Tim says as Jack opens the door and forces Amara into the room.

"We brought you this," Jack states with the girl in front of him on display for his captain to see, "we know it's not Bucky but we were hoping a new toy would be better then nothing."

"You think a new toy compares to your failure of bringing me Bucky Barnes? Uh no," Steve says, "but doesn't mean I'm not going to keep it. I've been a bit bored lately and a new toy does sound fun."
