Two

(Name) had never been to Sasuke's house. He had been to her house countless times, met her mother and father, and also got their approval. Sasuke Uchiha was rich, handsome, and good at everything. What kind of parents would not like such a guy for their daughter ? They were usually away from their house because of work, so they were glad (Name) wasn't lonely.

Whenever (Name) called, Sasuke would come to her in minutes. She was hardly ever made to wait. Whenever she left her house, she met Sasuke somewhere nearby. It must be a coincidence, she always thought. But it was not.

"(Name), what a surprise."

(Name) turned around at her name being called. She was out for grocery shopping, and behind her stood her dear boyfriend Sasuke.

"Well, I'm more surprised. I never thought I'd ever find you here." she said. Sasuke Uchiha definitely didn't suit in the supermarket.

"Nobody else is going to do this for me, anyway." said Sasuke, and lifted his basket to (Name) what he had bought. (Name) glanced inside, only to find tomatoes. She let out a nervous laugh.

"You live alone ?" she asked. Sasuke nodded. (Name) looked at him thoughtfully. "But, still, what a coincidence to meet her !" (Name) smiled. Sasuke also smiled. Of course, it was not a coincidence.

After (Name) finished shopping, Sasuke offered to walk her home. (Name) gladly accepted. What a chance to show off her amazing boyfriend to the world ! Even though Sasuke always walked her home, they used a different route.

"I want to visit your house someday, and maybe meet your family." said (Name) as she and Sasuke walked. Sasuke always walked on the side of the road, which (Name) liked a lot. She thought it was very thoughtful of him.

"I told you, I live alone." he said. He couldn't let (Name) in so suddenly. He wasn't prepared. "Besides, it's a long time from here to my house."

"But---"

"Look !! Isn't that Sasuke ?! Hey, Sasuke !! It's been a long time !!"

(Name) was interrupted by a blonde boy. (Name) felt Sasuke almost turn stiff at his voice. He came running towards Sasuke and tackled him. "You left without a word. How dare you ?!" the boy kept yelling. Even though his words meant anger, he was actually grinning widely.

"Shut up." said Sasuke.

(Name) took a step back and watched Sasuke try to push the boy off. Must be his friend from middle school, she thought. She was going to start whining and make Sasuke take her to his house. She wanted to see what kind of a place he lived in, what kind of parents he had, whether he had siblings.

'Besides, it's a long way to my house.'

(Name) stood frozen as Sasuke's words rang in her ears once again. If it was such a long way to his house, why had he come all the way here just to by tomatoes ? There was a supermarket at in every area, so he could just go to the one closer to his house. He did not have to come here. All of a sudden, (Name) started feeling uneasy. Something inside her told her something over there was out of place. Something was not right.

"Oh ? Is this the girl you left school for ? Your girlfriend ?" the blonde boy approached (Name). She took another step back. She was having a really bad feeling and this boy, even with his bright blonde spiky hair and blue eyes, was not making things any better for her.

"Mind your own business." said Sasuke as he stepped between (Name) and the boy. (Name) snapped out of her thoughts and faced the reality in front of her. "Can't you see you're making her uncomfortable ? Gross." said Sasuke, making a hateful face towards the boy, who just pouted. (Name) felt bad because she knew how rude Sasuke could get, even towards people who mean no harm.

"Uh.. No, it's not--"

"We're going." announced Sasuke, and pulled (Name) ahead by her arm. She turned behind to see the boy still pouting, with his hands locked behind his head. He noticed her gaze and grinned at her. He mouthed something, which (Name) couldn't make out. She just gave a small smile in return and turned to Sasuke.

"Who was that ?" she asked.

"A friend... from middle school." he answered.

(Name) slightly frowned. She had guessed that much. Normally, you say the person's name while talking about them. Sasuke didn't say anything. (Name) didn't even ask because it could have given off a wrong impression.

"Are you sure you can be that rude to him ?" asked (Name), and glanced back one more time. The boy was already out of sight. "I mean, wouldn't he feel bad ?"

"Not really." said Sasuke.

(Name) frowned again. Sasuke was giving really vague answers, as if he wanted to hide something. She knew he was hiding something. (Name) glanced back one more time to see if the boy was anywhere near. If he hadn't interrupted her back then, she would've never realized this feeling of uncertainty inside her. She felt grateful towards the blonde boy.
