Prologue

"(Name), you know I love you."

(Name) stood frozen as one of her wildest dreams came true before her eyes. The best guy at school admitting that he loves her !!

"(Name), will you be my girlfriend ? Let's date."

Everyone had gathered around by now. As cliche as it was, Uchiha Sasuke stood in front of (Name) holding her hand in both of his with a very serious expression on his face. It was still unbelievable to (Name). She was sure the boy had thrown his pride away completely to confess to her.

"(Name), say something."

Sasuke pressed (Name)'s hand slightly. (Name) could not find her voice. Not that she particularly liked this boy, but hey, literally every girl had her eye on him, and he was asking (Name) to be his girlfriend !? Why not, thought (Name). She didn't have anybody else she liked either.

"Y-yes. Yes, why not, Sasuke ? I'll be your girlfriend." said (Name).

Her voice cracked a little, though she was not sure whether it was because of happiness or something else.

There was an uproar. Some of the crowd cheered, while others - mostly girls - booed as Sasuke squeezed (Name) tight.

"I'm glad. I'm so glad, (Name)." he whispered into her ear.

"Yeah, me too." she said, slowly wrapping her arms around his back with a big smile on her face.

Little did she know that she had dug her own grave.
