Surprise~ (stephenxhosuh) part two

No ones POV:
Daniel and jay and Ann are downstairs decorating the place. They hang fairy lights everywhere and Ann is baking vanilla cake, Hosuhs favorite. She makes a few cupcakes and begins to make the frosting while waiting on the cake to be ready

Jay goes to open up the windows considering it's getting hot inside. He rolls up the sleeves of his hoodie and he pulls the windows up and he sticks his head out and takes a deep breath of the cool winter evening breeze outside

That is until he hears the bushes right below the window move. He dosent hesitate and swiftly pulls his pocketknife out of his back pocket with ease. He points it out and hold it in such a ready stance. "Who there ?" He says with confidence

There's some more rusteling but then there is a head that pops up. Jay relaxes and puts the knife away when he sees the familiar purple Mohawk "what is it Stephen?" He says as he leans on the window once again.

Stephen rolls his eyes and looks up at jay "is hosuh there yet?" He whispers. Jay shakes his head and Stephen sighs in relief. He places his hands on the edge of the window and tilts his head upwards high enough to slightly lean his chin on the window. "Well, jay. I need your help!" He says with happyness

Jay seems surprised. Stephen never asks for help. Jay debates whether he should help or not, he kinda wants to see hosuh when he gets surprised. He turns away "I dunno Stephen..." he begins but is stopped when he hears Stephen whine quietly

He flinched. He's never heard such a cute sound. He turns back at Stephen and sees Stephen look up with adorable puppy eyes "p-please jay? It's for hosuh" he begs so desperately. Jay blushes madly but places a hand over his face hopeing that Stephen won't notice, and lucky for him, he didnt. He clears his throat and nods. "Ok. I'll help" he says as he smiles at Stephen

Stephens eyes shimmer "yes! Thanks! I owe ya one! Ok, then let's go!" He says as he backs away from the window expecting jay to do something crazy like jump out of it. Jay nods but hesitates. It would be rude to leave dan wondering why he suddenly left

He nods at Stephen and says "be right back" and he backs up and walks towards dan who is wrapping up a bunch of presents. Jay taps his shoulder and dan turns and faces jay as his eyelashes flutter

"Yeah jay? U need something?" He says with such heart warming care. Jay smiles and nods "yea, just letting you know that I'm heading out. I'll be back for the party, ok?" Dan seems confused tho. He wants to question it but something in jays expression makes him not want to do that. He sighs and nods. Jay smiles and ruffles dans green vibrant hair. Daniel blushes slightly and with that jay leaves the house

Stephens POV:
Me and jay run into my car and I pull out of the driveway and begin to drive downtown. I guess jay is still confused because he asks "so... what are we doing?" He asks as he kicks his legs up on the dashboard

I laugh and keep my eyes on the road "you'll see" I say all smiley as I think of what hosuh will think of my amazing gift

Dans POV:
Jay left. I guess he went with Stephen considering they are both gone at the moment. I sigh and place my hands on my hips as I look at the living room. There are party hats and confetti just splattered everywhere. There are warm fairy lights, Hosuhs favorite piece of decoration, all over the living room. I'm quite satisfied

I wipe the sweat off my brow and walk into the kitchen to see if Ann needs any help. Ann is standing near the counter and she squirts an even amount of frosting on each cupcake. Her and hosuh both like to cook and bake a lot. How amazing to have friends who can cook so that I don't have to do it haha.

I laughs silently to himself at my joke and help Ann with the frosting. As soon as we're done we take off our aprons and walk into the living room. I check the time on my watch. It's getting late. It's like 7 now. Hosuh will be here any minute! When is jay and Stephen coming?
