Chapter 15

THOMAS POV:

I woke up in the middle of the night with a stomach pain. I need to throw up. I headed to the bathroom and started puking in the toilet. It was a black vomit. Something is wrong. I need to find Newt. Maybe he knows. I finished vomiting and got my shoes. I headed to the woods in my pajamas. It's a pair with kittens and puppies. I think my mom got it from the girl section. Doesn't matter, I need Newt. I made it to the woods and entered. I'm so tired. I stumbled around till I fell to the ground. I want to sleep here. I was kicked in the penis. I groaned and held it in pain. I looked up and saw Gally. "That was for leaving and breaking Newt's heart" said Gally. "Fair enough, where is he anyway" I asked. Newt and the other gladers appeared. Newt picked me up. "You have a fever" said Newt. "I feel tired, and I threw up a black liquid not that long ago" I said. "Wait, I thought that was only for girls. Because of the whole you know, genitalia difference" said Minho.

"What" I asked. "He might be pregnant" said Newt. "To the hospital" said a boy. We headed to the hospital and I was placed on a bed. "There is only one way to test this" said a boy. He grabbed a needle with a clear liquid in it. "Wow wait what is that" I asked sitting up. "A liquid to test if you are pregnant. If you are then you will go into labor" said the boy. "What about the whole 9 months" I asked nervously. "Tommy isn't even a glader yet. Can't we do a bloody ultra sound or something" asked Newt. The boys looked at each other. "Well, in that case Thomas won't survive the birth process so if he is pregnant then you will turn him" said Alby. "We don't have anything else to test it" said Clint. "What if I go to the store and buy a pregnancy test" I asked. "That works" said Jeff. "Go, but you better come back" said Alby. I got up and left. I headed to the store and started looking at pregnancy test. I found a box and paid for it. I went back to the woods.

I have to pee on the stick. I went to the bathroom and I did my business. I feel nervous. I sat in the hospital bed and waited with everyone for the results. I would love to have a child with Newt but I will have to become a glader. I want to but what about the baby? Will me turning into a glader affect the baby? How did I even become pregnant? The test results showed up and I was pregnant. I was silent. Newt smiled and kissed my cheek. I could only blush. "One issue, if you turn Thomas that will also make him go into labor" said a boy. "But the baby isn't developed yet. We can't even tell it's sex" I said. "That doesn't matter Tommy. The baby will develop right away if needed" said Newt. "Will it hurt" I asked. "Probably" said Minho. "He deserves it" said Gally. I sat there silently. Newt did frown at Gally who frowned back. I signed and took a deep breath. "Just turn me so we can get the over with" I said laying down. This is going to hurt a lot I assume. I laid there nervously. Newt hovered above me. "We don't have to do this if you aren't ready yet" said Newt. "I am, I'm just scared" I said.
