I wrote this for an assignment for my Lang and lit class....
Ocean Eyes
Your eyes are an ocean
I fall into them and drown in their waves
I get lost in their deep blue,
Everything around me disappears.
I'm left with nothing but the vastness
Of the ocean you call your eyes.
I can see into the deep sapphire;
I see the pain you hold
But with every breath,
your orbs get darker
And they will keep getting darker,
until one day, they turn black
And you join me in the void
behind the blue mask you wear above your smile.
