A few months had passed and everything slowly went back to normal.
Aashi and Arjun were happier than ever. Aashi had slowly recovered from the hurt and had forgiven Arjun. Arjun was slowly morphing into the perfect husband. He would put work second and take more care of Aashi. Arjun would also spend more time with her.
They were both happily living together.
No more Prem, no more Elina trying to interrupt their happiness. No one was left who tried to break them apart."Honey, I am home." Arjun said while walking in.
"You're rather early today, what's the matter?" Aashi said while embracing him with a hug.
"I just missed my beautiful wife, so I wanted to come home!" Arjun said and planted a kiss on her cheek.
"Well then your timing is perfect, because I was just about to make some lunch!"
"I am one lucky man then, because I'm very hungry." He laughed. Both went into the kitchen and started preparing lunch. They decided on making pizza. It did not turn out the way they had planned it. Both fully covered in flour and leftover sauce.
"You're going to pay for that Mr." Aashi blurted out. She pretended to be mad but failed. Both bursted out in laughter. These precious little moments made their life complete. Life felt perfect.
Arjun hugged Aashi from behind.
"I'm guessing I have to clean up?" Arjun asked and smiled.
"You bet!" Aashi reassured him.
"But I'll need your help!" He said and laughed.
"Idiot!" She mumbled.
Both could be as silly as children sometimes. Everything turned out perfect, just because they decided not to let go..--------------------------------------------------------------
