Yesterday was a mess but today was a new start. I sat up off my old mattress and looked around my crummy apartment
" Telling me I have 3 days. Mr. I'm so rich"
I curled up with my blanket begining my search on Mr. Rich Elli, scrolling from website to website down to every line. Reading up on every scandal he was in, every part of drama, who he was, his parents information, and his social media.
Scrolling and scribbling notes down on scrap paper I had laying around. There was a knock at my door and my entire body tightened, I turned my phone off and sat up on my bed.
" Ms. Fawn, I need to talk to you"
I sighed realizing it was my landlord, I got up from the bed and walked over to the door letting him in ready to close the door but a large hand gripped the side and shoved it back open. I quickly stepped back seeing a man I've never seen before
" I- Uh? Who's this?"
I turned towards my landlord and he smiled leaning against the counter. I groaned slightly when the name 'Elli' slipped from his lips
" The young man said he's known you for quite a while, he sent his.. Friend to come help you pack"
" Pack? What for? I'm not leaving"
" He said you knew about the move?"
" I still have 2 days!"
" Not anymore."
The unknown man spoke to me after stepping besides me. I rolled my eyes stepping away from him, staring at my landlord
" This shouldn't be allowed."
" Ms. Fawn is it?"
" Yes. Who are you?"
He looked over at me.
" I'm Mr. Gates assistant, My name is Peter, but call me Pete"
" Okay..."
" Do you have everything?"
" Just a suitcase and laptop."
He looked around, I did as well. Looking at the small apartment I lived in, looking at the cheap bed, cheap kitchen, I sighed with a smile.
" Alright, both of you. Out."
I grabbed my landlord and Pete by their shirt sleeves dragging them from my apartment. Closing the door in their faces, quickly going to my bed and leaping onto it Rolling over onto my back with a smile
" I'm leaving this shit hole..."
I rolled off my bed and grabbed the bag I had, packing away my charger and laptop since the clothes I owned stayed with my aunt I slid on my slippers, looking around.
Grabbing what I could, stuffing crap in every pocket on my bag, throwing on my hoodie and stuffing the pockets with the notes from earlier before heading out if my apartment
" Well? Quit trying to get into each other's panties, I gots' places to be"
" Places?"
" Yeah, I gotta stop by my aunt's to talk to her"
" You can do that later Ms. Fawn, for right now we need to go to Mr. Gates"
" Ugh!"
He sighed looking over at my landlord shaking his hand and thanking him before he shooed me forwards slightly, walking us to the elevator. The ride down was quiet
Once we made it to the car I stopped and stared at the sharp Ford in front of me
" Holy shit, look how shinny this thing is!"
