I groaned sitting up and stretching, undoing my hair from it's messy bun and I sighed looking around the room. Scratching my head and ruffling my hair
" I need a break..."
I rolled my eyes getting up. Going to my dresser, grabbing a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt. Changing quickly, I threw my hair up into a high ponytail and sighed. Grabbing my Nike Jacket then my Jean jacket layering them
" Okay... Shoes... Where's my shoes..."
I wandered around my room as I searched for my shoes. Not being able to find my Nikes I groaned, flipping the blanket onto my bed and looking underneath
" Ehh... I guess slides are okay"
I reached for my slides. Barely reaching, the loud slam of the door made me jump. Smacking my head off the bed frame, I groaned crawling out from under my bed. Dropping my slides rubbing my head
" Why's everyone constantly slamming doors..."
I walked out of my room peeking down the hall to see Elli and Jay talking. I sighed in relief heading to the kitchen, walking passed them both.
" Morning guys..."
" Good morning Liz"
" Morning"
I opened up the fridge grabbing an orange, walking back to my room peeling it. Standing in the doorway I looked around, stepping inside the room
" It's so boring here... I'm headed to my aunt's place a little early, deck this room out a little"
" I'm sorry, does the cream colored walls bore you Ms. Fawn?'
I jumped hearing Elli's voice. I turned around and he leaned against the door frame smiling at me, I put my hand to my chest smiling softly
" Yes... Yes it does"
" What a pity... Here"
He opened his jacket digging around the inside pocket. Pulling out a wad of cash, counting it. I stood there staring wide eyed
" Here. Just a few bucks short but I'm sure you'll be okay with it"
He grabbed my free hand opening it and placing the ball of cash in my hand closing it. He looked at me and patted my shoulder with a smile
" Just a few more months and you can leave... Aren't you happy?"
My chest tightened at his words and I looked at Elli, smiling at him anyways
" Y- Yeah..."
" You need a ride to your aunt's im assuming?"
" How'd yo-
" You like to talk to yourself... And we planned this yesterday"
" I- Do you?"
" What? Talk to myself? Sometimes... But not like you do"
" So? This place is empty half the time so I have no choice but to talk to myself"
He laughed and I smiled. Stuffing the money into my jacket. I walked over to my bed and grabbed my phone stuffing it in my pocket as well, looking around
