I tried on each dress, having Jay judge each dress and item I had. He had me walk up and down the hallway with each dress, posing and strutting. After around 30 minutes of debating back and fourth we decided on the silver dress, I kept it on but switched out the jewelry.
Straightening my hair and fixing the scarf I chose. Hiding away the small bruises on my neck, I sighed rubbing my arm. I heard a light knock on the door and I looked back, Jay walked in holding a long white and gray fur coat
" To match"
He bowed and I laughed grabbing it, lifting it up and looking at it. My nerves throbbed when I heard a door slam, I clenched the jacket in my arms looking at Jay. He sighed
" Elli is back..."
" Where'd he go?"
" To his brother's house.."
" O- Oh"
My body tensed. I quickly put the fur robe on and rushed over to the heels, looking back at Jay picking up a shoe from each pair
" O- Uh... W- Which one did we choose again?"
" The silver ones with the red bottoms, Ms. White"
" Oh! Right!"
I quickly sat down and began wrapping the straps up my legs. The door opened and I jumped seeing Elli standing there, fixing the collar on his shirt. He looked down at me and froze, stepping back with a smirk on his face
" Look at you, you actually look like you have money... Ms. Fawn"
" Hey!-
" C'mon. We're running late"
" Wha- I didn't even finish my makeup"
" You look fine.."
I stood up after I fixed my heel. I sighed standing an inch taller than Elli. I smiled, seeing his face. Putting my hands on my hips, turning to the side
" Do I look rich enough?"
" Yes.. Now let's go"
I sighed, looking back at Jay. Quickly rushing to him, giving him a hug. Stepping back, I looked at him smiling.
" Thank you"
" No problem Ms. White"
" It's Liz..."
He nodded at me, Elli grabbed ahold of my arm softly. Steadily pulling me, I turned towards him smiling softly
" Alright, let's go.."

We walked into the restaurant, the smell of champagne and flowers lingered through my nose. The bruises on my neck made me paranoid but I felt at ease with Elli
I looked back at Elli and he nudged me forward, I began walking slowly. Looking at the ground, now feeling uncomfortable and out of place.
" Keep your head up, it shows confidence. Keep your back straight, shows dominance... Also, we date when in public and around family"
I looked over at Elli and he cracked a smile at me, my stomach and chest flipped. I smiled back, after he looked forwards I continued to stare at his side profile
His broken nose and small facial scars made him look all more intimidating. But when he smiled he was a different person, his light brown skin glowed in the dim light and his dark curly hair bounced slightly as he walked
