He parked the car as I snatched my phone opening up the door, running towards my aunt's flower shop. The door opened and she walked out, her black silky hair tied up high. She turned and saw me, smiling instantly and My eyes welled up with tears
I ran towards her pulling her into a tight hug, leaning my head on her shoulder. Digging my nails into her shirt
" What's wrong Chika, what's with the tears"
She pulled back holding onto my face. Looking at me, examining me. She 'tsked' me when she looked up at me knowing something was wrong
" N- Nothing, nothing's wrong... Life's just so different a- and it's not what I'm used to.. How's the boys? Are they okay? Is London eating... I-
" Liz!"
My aunt said my name with a stern voice. She stared at me holding onto me so I couldn't move
" Liz, sweetie, they're okay I got them.. They're doing great a-
" Liz."
My body tensed up, my heart throbbed in my chest hearing Elli's voice. I turned towards him smiling softly
" S- Sorry... Auntie, this is Elli... The man I'm helping"
When I looked back at my aunt she had her head tilted with her arms crossed while she stared him up and down, I bit my lip looking at her she sighed, leaning onto her left leg putting her hand on her hip
" You treating my niece properly? Am I going to have to keep an eye on you?"
I instantly looked over at Elli. He stared at my aunt with wide eyes, he glanced over at me and turned towards me
" I-
" No, don't look at me... Answer her"
I turned him towards my aunt who stood there staring at him. Before looking over at me, she sucked her teeth at me. I smiled at her, Elli stepped up
" I- I'm Elli... And I promise you your niece is safe with me, she'll be back in a couple of months"
" You know she calls me almost every night to talk about everything..."
" S- She does?"
" Yes. She does, she speaks highly of who she's staying with. Let me ask you something Elli"
" Of course.."
My aunt stepped up to him. Staring at him, almost eye to eye. She narrowed her eyes at him
" What is my niece getting out of helping you? I'm guessing you haven't been told about her anxiety, or her fear of being on camera"
" Wh- I-
" Whatever she gets out of helping you with your issue better be the best thing you can do for her. That girl is my world, you understand me? You put her through any distress I'll whoop your skinny little ass. Don't play with auntie"
She poked him in his chest and he stepped back. Shocked. I just smiled at her, she looked over at me and her expression changing instantly
" C'mere Chika, I missed you"
I scrunched my nose. Hugging her, she squeezed me rocking us back and fourth as I stared at the flower shop happy, wiping my face clean. The door opened and my aunt let me go, and my eyes widened
" London!"
My brother's head quickly snapped when he heard my voice. He dropped the bag he was holding and charged after me, I stepped to the side and smiled
