I woke up with a headache. I groaned rubbing my temples sitting up, I scratched my head and sighed getting a glimpse of myself through the window
" I need a shower.."
I got up, stretching. Stripping from my clothes, catching my reflection In the mirror. I turned to my side and looked at myself, running my fingers over my pale skin
" I could be a model..."
I smiled, grabbing a towel and a change of clothes. Heading to my own personal bathroom, turning on the light and setting everything down on the sink I turned to grabbed the baby pink silk robe hanging on the door and I wrapped it around my body
Heading out to the kitchen, seeing as Jay began putting away groceries. I smiled walking up to the coffee pot
" Morning Jay"
I grabbed a cup pouring enough coffee to fill it half way, I leaned against the counter smiling at him
" Good morning Liz.. Elli will be back in an hour, today is your orientation for his modeling company.."
" Oh, shit... I forgot about that.."
Jay stood up straight and turned towards me. I took a sip after blowing on it with a sigh, a random question dawned on me
" Hey, Jay... Whens Elli's birthday?"
" Oh, today actually.."
I choked on the coffee. Setting the cup down, coughing. Jay stared at me holding onto fresh corn. Staring at me concerned
" I-- I'm okay... Thanks for asking"
I sighed rubbing my throat. He laughed and I rolled my eyes at him, hopping up onto the counter. Kicking my legs
" Do you guys have anything planned for him?"
" No.. He doesn't really celebrate his birthday"
" Well we are today.. Can we make a cake?"
" I don't have any ingredients..."
He looked around the kitchen. Looking back at me shaking his head after making sure
" Yeah, no.. no ingredients"
" Can you go get some? I gotta shower.."
" Make it quick"
" You make it quick."
" Fine."
I laughed grabbing my coffee, patting his shoulder thanking him. Heading back to my bathroom, quickly running back out stopping Jay
" Oh! Wait, get him just a regular cake with icing.. I wanna try something"
" Okay?"
He closed the door and I rushed back to my bedroom kicking off my slippers next to my bed then went to the bathroom closing the door. Setting my coffee down on the sink with a smile
Taking off my robe, I hung it back up starting the shower. Stepping inside sliding the Curtain shut, I leaned my head into the water sighing. Grabbing my shampoo, squirting some into my hand. I began rubbing my scalp, trying to ease my headache
" I dunno if I can keep doing this in all honesty"
I turned around leaning back into the hot water rinsing my hair. Wiping my face down, staring at the pearly white wall. Shoulders slumped and smile gone
" That's too bad, it's kinda fun"
I jumped hearing Marks voice. Almost slipping, I caught myself on the wall. He opened the shower curtain, I stood there covering my body. My heart pounding in my chest, so loud I could hear
