CLARKE CONTINUED TO steal glances at Hope as they walked through the woods. They had just left the cave two hours prior, and Hope's hair was disheveled, but he still thought she was the most beautiful thing he has ever seen in his hundreds of years being alive.

After their little tickle session, it's been a little awkward around them, tension so thick that it could be cut with a knife. Something was going on inside their minds and they aren't that sure about what it was.

As they were walking through the dark and creepy forest, a twig snapping interrupted their thoughts, making them both freeze. Hope glanced over at Clarke who nodded at her.

Hope held out her hands by her side and mumbled a spell under her breath. Suddenly, a girl went flying through the air, and landed right in front of them, groaning as she landed on her side.

Suddenly, the short haired girl looked up at them with glowing blue eyes which made them jump back in shock. The girl opened her mouth, showing off canines, and she launched herself at Hope who let out a squeak in surprise, and dodged the girl's attempts at hitting her.

The girls nails sharpened and grew into claws and she swung them at Hope who kept dodging them easily, every once in awhile slapping the girls wrists away from her.

Clarke stood to the side, just watching the fight with wide eyes. He didn't interfere because he knew that Hope could handle her own, and unless she ends up needing his help, he'll just stay on the sidelines until then.

"Who are you?!" The girl growled out to Hope who let out a noticeable sigh, happy that they found someone — something else — that could talk. "What do you want with me?!" She continued to ask as she swung at Hope, getting noticeably angry.

"We don't want anything from you!" Hope exclaimed as she dodged the girls' leg that she swung at her. Getting annoyed and tired of the pointless fight, she quickly swung out her leg, and roundhouse kicked the girl in the head, knocking her out.

"Damn," Clarke breathed out as he slowly approached Hope with a dazed expression.

"It was getting nowhere," Hope simply told him before bending down and grabbing the girl and swinging her over her shoulder. "We should tie her up before she wakes up, and then ask questions."

Clarke nodded, not disagreeing with her. After all, this was the first person — supernatural — they've met that can talk.

IT WAS ABOUT an hour later when the girl woke up, groaning. She quickly realized she was tried to a tree with vines that were surprisingly strong.

"Good, you're awake," Hope commented as she kneeled down in front of the girl who only looked to be around sixteen or seventeen. "What's your name?" She asked her gently and then sighed once she said nothing. "I'm Hope."

That's what made the girl chuckle. "Hope? Well, that's new. There is no hope in this place."

Clarke appeared behind Hope, glancing down at her with soft eyes. "Aren't you wondering why we're here?"

The girl narrowed her eyes. "To hurt me."

Hope shook her head as she stood up. "No, we're not." She then sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Malivore is a place where you suffer by yourself. It's changing and it's—"

"Because of you?" She snarked, glaring up at them. "Which leads me to the fact that you're here to hurt me."

Hope took in a deep breath before showing off her golden eyes. "I'm a werewolf," she told the girl who tilted her head. "A tribrid, actually. The only one of my kind."

The girl let out an airy laugh. "Same." She then furrowed her brows. "That I know of. I don't even know how long I've been in this place."

Hope gave her a small smile. "We're not going to hurt you. We're on the same side."

The girl studied them for a few seconds, not saying anything before she lowered her head and showed off her shining blue eyes. "I'm Malia, a werecoyote."

Hope's eyes widened. "I've never met your kind before. I've only read books about you." She then approached the girl and muttered a spell, and the vines that wrapped around Malia and the tree fell apart, freeing the teenager.

Malia stood up to her feet and rolled her neck. "You throw a good kick," she complimented Hope who sent her a smirk. "Got nice boobs, too."

Clarke's eyes widened and he looked between the girls, especially Hope who merely chuckled and blushed. He narrowed his eyes at Malia, his heart clenching as he saw the way she was checking out Hope who seemed to like it.

"Is there anything you know about Malivore, anything that could help us?" Clarke interrupted their moment, taking a closer step to Hope who didn't seem to notice.

Malia frowned and shook her head. "No, other than the fact that monsters keep trying to kill me in here."

Hope mumbled, "it's the same with us." She placed her hands in her back pockets and tilted her head. "Do you... do you want to join us?"

Malia looked between them, and upon seeing Clarke's face who didn't seem to like her company, she nodded with a smirk. "I would love to."

Hope smiled, happy that they have made a new friend.
