Chapter 2- In memory

A/N: Hello everyone it's Darakoi, this chapter is going to be more of a character development chapter. It will be taking place between episode 1 and 2. Let's get this chapter going!

Y/N POV

You let out a small groan at the sound of your alarm clock going off, signaling it is morning. As you open your eyes and reach over for your scroll you notice long blonde hair laying splayed out on the bed. Looking down you smile at the sight of Yang laying cuddled up to you looking so cute.

Y/N: "So cute"

You smile and lean in kissing her softly on top of her head making her shift around slightly. You slowly get up and out of her soft grip around you, seeing that all of team RWBY were asleep you chuckle and think to yourself that they probably wont mind if you borrow their shower for a minute. Stepping in you close the door to the bathroom but forget to lock it as you start undressing and step in the shower, you let out a relaxed sigh as the warm water from the shower runs down your body and over your scarred chest. standing with your back against the wall you glance down at your scar, feeling a slight pain from it sometimes when you breath deeply. You slightly run a finger along the scar from the lines going out from the middle to the slight swirl as you move your finger towards the middle.

Y/N: "At least this is proof that i'm alive"

Shadow slowly forms next to you and sighs.

Shadow: "Yup, and how stupid you were to risk your life fighting that death stalker"

Y/N: "Oh shut up"

You let out a sigh and look at shadow.

Y/N: "Shadow, there is something i want to know."

Shadow: "Wassup?"

Y/N: "If i were to take all of your power, what would happen to us?"

Shadow simply sighs and floats around while laying in the air with his arms behind his head.

Shadow: "Not sure myself, but the best i can guess is that you will either go berserk from the high force of aura or you will simply die on the spot from the immense pain. Just remember, i'm the only thing sealing away all that crazy amount of aura in you"

Y/N: "Wait, that isn't your own aura?"

Shadows chuckles at your then stares at you with a serious look.

Shadow: "Like i told you, i'm just made of all your anger, hate and rage. i'm just a different part of you"

Y/N: "Then why do you seem so calm all the time."

Shadow: "I'm not calm, i'm boiling with thought of anyone hurting Yang"

You sigh pressing your forehead against the wall while tightly clenching your fist.

Y/N: "I won't let anyone hurt her, not as long as i'm alive"

Shadow grins as he slowly starts disappearing.

Shadow: "Then you better not die again, darkness lurks in every corner you know"

Y/N: "Wait, what do you mea-"

Turning around you see that he is already gone, possibly having gone back to sleep in your mind. Sighing you press your back against the wall and just let the shower wash your scarred body, until suddenly you hear the door to the bathroom open.

Y/N: (Thoughts) "Shit! did i forget to lock the door?!"

Quickly you press yourself against the wall and try to hide behind the shower curtain near the wall.
