Chapter 10- On unknown grounds

As you all stand with horrified looks on your faces from seeing that you will be shadowing Oobleck out on your mission. Oobleck doesnt seem to waste any time and walks back and forth infront of you all, inspecting everything you have with you.

Weiss: "Professor Oobleck?"

Oobleck: "Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary, girls, seeing as you've opted to shadow a huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you, we will not be establishing a single base of operations; rather, we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I packed all of our essentials myself, plotted our air course, and readied the airship. And..."

Oobleck zooms over infront of Weiss at the blink of an eye, suprising her.

Oobleck: "It's Doctor Oobleck. I didn't earn the PhD for fun, thank you very much!"

Weiss: "Uh..."

Oobleck quickly backs away and stands infront of everyone once again, sometimes you wonder if he is always this fast or if this is how he is when he has coffee.

Oobleck: "Come now, children; according to my schedule, we are already three minutes behind!"

Oobleck seemingly pauses before finishing his sentace.

Oobleck: "...Schedule"

He quickly zooms up to the docked airship, waiting for us.

Ruby: "Well, alright then! Looks like we're going to save the world with Doctor Oooobleck- Okay yeah when you say it out loud it sounds worse."

Y/n: "Let's hope someone as energetic as him isn't a light sleeper. would make it harder for us to sneak away."

Nora: "Save the world?"

Turning around you see Nora and Team JNPR walking up.

Nora: "You're going on world- saving missions without us? I'm hurt...sad!"

Nora's stomach rumbles as she is in the middle of being dramatic as always.

Nora: "Maybe a little hungry? That last one's not your fault, though, Ren..."

Ren simply crosses his arms and turns away, ignoring Nora.

Jaune: "Sounds exciting. Where ya going?"

Ruby: "Oh, just outside the kingdom.."

Nora: "Hey! So are we!"

Pyrrha: "Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village."

Ren: "We set off tomorrow."

Y/n: "Atleast that sounds more interesting then shadowing someone like Doctor Oobleck.."

Neptune: "Then you can party with us tonight!"

Looking over you see Neptune and Sun walk over.

Neptune: "We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner-city detective stuff. We get junior badges."

Y/n: "Let's hope you guys just don't start thinking of switching careers... Feels like the city would be doomed with you two as detectives."

Sapphire quickly elbows you in the side while glaring up at you.

Y/n: "What? it's true."

Sun: "We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk, so we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when its, you know.. normal.
