Chapter 4- A minor Hiccup

All the students inside Professor Port's classroom were either sitting in their seat dying of boredom or were asleep while Port rambled on with stories of his adventures in his youth. Y/N was sitting in his seat at the table across from Team RWBY and was idly glancing over at them. Y/N had noticed that since they played their board game in the library, the girls seemed to have been planning something by them self. Whatever that is Y/N wasn't sure, but he knew it must have something to do with the white fang. As he glances over at Weiss who is staring patiently at the clock on her scroll, he can see Jaune slowly slide up next to Weiss. Their dialogue was a bit muffled but you were sure that he was trying to ask Weiss out on a date. Soon the alarm goes off signaling the end of class just as Port poses as a towering monster ready to attack.

Port: "and then i- Oh."

Port soon straightens up his stance as students start getting ready to leave.

Port: "I guess i must have timed that one wrong. Well, the stunning conclusion to this story will have to wait till next time!"

Y/N: "I swear to oum, every time i listen to his stories i wish that i just died back in the emerald forest"

Sapphire quickly reply to his statement with a hard slap to the back of his head, making him groan and clutch the back of his head.

Sapphire: "Talk like that Y/N and i'll be sure to be the one putting you six feet under"

Y/N: "Alright alright, geez i was just joking."

Sapphire huffs and grabs her stuff before storming out of the classroom, Olivia can't help but to giggle at the scene that just happened while Thorin simply packs his stuff.

Olivia: "You two sure are close, i have known Thorin for about six years now but i don't think i can do something like that."

Y/N: "Sapphie has always been like that, she just doesn't like when people joke about dying"

Olivia: "Understandable, especially since she nearly lost you... her only friend"

Y/N let out a sigh and simply nod as he gets up.

Y/N: "I'll go and apologize."

As he goes to leave the classroom, Olivia grabs him by his sleeve making him look at her.

Olivia: "Hold on Y/N, Give her some time to cool off first."

Y/N: "You sure?"

Olivia: "Y/N, I'm a woman....I know what's best to do when it comes to other girls."

Y/N nods as he walks out of the classroom. On his way out he notices Yang walking down the hall with her team and quickly catch up with them.

Y/N: "Hey hun"

Yang: "Oh, hey babe. What's up?"

Y/N: "Just wanted to check if you wanted to head out on a date tonight, does that sound good?"

Yang: "Oh... Sorry babe, but i promised Ruby that i would help her with something tonight. how about some other time?"

Y/N: "Of course, anything for you"

Yang smiles as she leans in and kisses him on the cheek before leaving with her team. 

Y/N (Thoughts) : "Oh now i defiantly know you four are up to no good."

Sun: "Yo! Y/N!"

Turning around Y/N sees Sun and Neptune walking up.

Y/N: "Hey guys, what's up?"
