"Mother! Father! I can't believe I'm saying this but we're going to be late if we don't leave for the shops now!" Came Aurora's hurried voice as she ran down the stairs, Lily behind her laughing as she calmly went down. Safe to say no one had problem to distinguish between the identical twins.

Aurora was going to speak again as she reached the living room, but stopped herself, both physically and mentally as Lily faceplanted on Aurora's back. "Aren't we going to get the school supplies with Mary Father?" Lily asked, still not having seen the new person in the room beside her parents and a scowling Petunia.

Aurora nudged her and she finally saw the tall lady in green robes. The lady looked sharp, although the lines around her eyes indicating that she did smile, one thing which confused Aurora. The other thing confusing her was the tall pointed hat beside the lady, and her parents still sitting in their seats in front of them, a pale white letter in both of their hands.

"I presume you are Lilian and Aurora Evans?" The lady spoke, surprisingly soft, which made Aurora realise that she's the kind of bad-arse ladies that were always in hiding behind the prim proper clothes. Slowly she grinned and nodded affirmatively. "I'm Lily, and she's Aurora." She spoke as Lily smacked her on the head as her mother gave her a scolding look while her father smirked, shaking his head. He probably knew Aurora would do this , she always did this when meeting new people.

"Sorry sir and ma'am, I'm Lily and she's Aurora." Lily sweetly said as she pushed Aurora to move and soon both the girls were sitting in their seats, tea in their hands - even though Aurora wanted the letters that were addressed to them. She had fleetingly seen her name on one of those and presumed the other to be Lily's.

When Lily's words registered in her mind, she noticed that another person was sitting beside the strict lady - her aura had made Aurora notice only her and forget about the other - who was chuckling slightly as he saw the dumbfounded look on her face. She sheepishly smiled at the old man as away of apologizing and looked back at her sister to avoid any more awkward confrontation. Although from the amused look in the lady's eyes, Aurora knew she saw but refused to comment.

There was silence for a minute, as Aurora presumed that the lady had already said what needed to be said before she came barging in.

"So you're saying my daughters are witches?" Came Jean's shamy voice as she directed her question to the man.

"Extraordinary ones, I'm sure of it." Said the old man. He had a fantastic white beard, Aurora noticed.

"But Petunia isn't one?" Her father asked as Aurora looked at her sister. She felt sorry for her, but as Petunia gave her another cold glare she turned back to the adults. If she wants to stay mean, let her be, She thought.

"In non magical people, it's a matter of chance on who gets the magical gene. I'm sorry, but your eldest has no magical blood, thus can't be schooled in Hogwarts. We do wish her well in life." The lady spoke up.

Her parents nodded as they exchanged a glance. "Can we have some time to ponder on it?" Her father said finally, as the old man smiled, as if he already had the answer. Looking at his beard, Aurora was sure he did.

"Ofcourse, you can send the reply back latest by the next week." He replied back as Jean and Michael sighed in relief.

As if communicating silently, the witch and the wizard - still feels wierd that both Aurora and Lily were one - stood up, as the lady swished a stick and the hat flew to her hand.

She knew that it was meant to be a display to prove that magic was real, but Aurora and Lily looked at the display in wonder, as the old pair looked at each other and smiled. They both knew the answer of the parents, it was just a matter of days before they got the confirmatory letter.
