As soon as Aurora entered Professor Dumbeldore's office, the first thing she noticed was the Phoenix. Her jaw dropped as she saw the gorgeous bird fly high, and gracefully perch on her shoulders. She was so awestruck by it all, that she missed her twin's presence in the room, only knowing of it when Professor McGonagall coughed slightly, as she jumped.

"Uh sorry. Just ..." She said gesturing wildly to the phoenix as Dumbledore let out a chuckle.

"Phoenix are very loyal friends Ms.Evans . And loyal friends are the greatest treasure life can give." Dumbeldore said as he chuckled as Aurora's head tilted slightly at his confusing words.

Is it a thing that all wizards have to speak in riddles or is it just him?

"Ms. Evans have a seat please." McGonagall said , coming to business.

"What did you do?" Lily whispered in her twin's sister, knowing that it was usually Aurora and her band of troublemakers who would land her in well.... trouble.

"I didn't do anything this time!" She whispered back as Lily looked at her.

"This time?" Lily whispered once again , but before Aurora could speak up, Professor McGonagall stopped her.

"Aurora please tell us what happened in the Hospital room with Mr. Lupin." She said kindly yet strictly as Aurora gulped and met Lily's inquisitive stare.

"Nothing! I was just talking with James and Sirius and Peter when suddenly Peter exclaimed that my hand was glowing, and it was! Glowing red!" Aurora said, as the twins saw the professor's exchange a glance.

"And has this ever happened before Ms. Evans? Or with you Ms.Evans?" She asked once again to Aurora and then Lily, who both shook their heads.

"This is the first time and the last time Professor. I promise I won't do it again!" Aurora panicked, thinking that they would expel her for being wierd, and because of that they would expel Lily too. She couldn't let that happen to her sister.

Her panic slowly turned into confusion as both the professors starting laughing, as she looked at Lily as if thinking , they have gone bonkers, haven't they? Lily nodded slightly, thinking in the same wavelengths as her twin.

"Ms. Evans the ability you have , is one of great importance and pride. You are what we call a siphoner, one that would be powerful at its prime." Dumbeldore explained as Aurora nodded in realisation. But she was still confused.

He said would not could. That's strange. She thought as she heard her sister speak. "What exactly does a siphoner do, Professor? Is siphoning dangerous?" Lily asked , both the girls still contemplating the new information.

"There are many things a siphoner can do, but as it is, they are especially rare, so we don't know much about them. But I once encountered an empath siphoner in my journey's, one that could siphon or absorb feelings from other humans, and even animals." Dumbeldore said, a look in his eyes as if remembering past times.

"So it's not dangerous?" Lily asked, afraid for her sister.

"No, on the contrary it's the most brilliant gift! If trained and identified properly, you sister Ms. Evans, can do wonders and miracles this world rarely ever sees!" Professor Dumbeldore kindly said as Aurora smiled, the apprehension gone from her face.

"What all can I do Professor?" She excitedly asked.

"From what I know, siphoners can absorb feelings, that's what most are limited too. But there have been some who can siphon the magic of another wizard, or even someone's life force." As soon as he had said it, the room had darkened slightly, as Lily clutched Aurora's hand tightly.
