As soon as she saw a slightly empty compartment she shuffled in, not noticing the one boy sitting there with a book in hand already as she plopped down on one seat, as Sirius sat beside her and James sat beside the boy. "So, what did that git say to you?" She questioned as James laughed – already used to her blunt words as he too was the same , only difference being he was shy around strangers a bit, all eleven year old are, well all eleven year olds except Aurora – as Sirius looked at her in surprise.
"My full name." He said as he started playing with the hem of his robes, not Hogwarts one but normal wizarding robes.
Aurora looked at James, and he too was confused. "What's your full name gotta do with him being a git?"
"My name's Sirius Black." Sirius mumbled so low, Aurora almost missed it.
"Okay. Hi Sirius Black. Nice to meet you. Now what did Snapey say that was offensive?" She said again as Sirius looked at her in shock. James looked slightly understanding but still majorly confused.
"He said I would automatically be in Slytherin." He said as he glared outside, anger flaring suddenly.
James had to give it to Aurora, the girl was patient. By now James had understood Sirius's position, but Aurora was still confused. "What's Slytherin got to do?"
Sirius didn't say anything, so James decided to end her misery. "I don't know much about these things as Dad keeps me away, but Slytherin's are supposedly evil." He said as Aurora nodded in understanding. Then suddenly she got up. "That slimy git!" She shouted as all three boys in the compartment jumped up in surprise.
"What happened?" The new boy said as Aurora finally looked at him. As soon as she did her face turned red as her eyes widened. "J-just that Snape said that he wanted him and Lily in Slytherin." She cursed herself to stutter a second but no one noticed as James stood up in anger too. "What!?" Behind , she could hear Sirius sniggering a bit, for reasons unknown to her. She didn't bother to ask as she ran outside to search for her twin sister and that slimy short oaf.
She soon got there and barged in, seeing two new girls in front of Lily and Snape, but she didn't pay attention to them as she glared at Snape, who looked too innocent to her. "You git. You want Lily in the evil house with you? Fat chance." She spat out as Lily looked at her sister in surprise.
"Rory, what are you saying –?" She said as Snape laughed. "You're wrong. My dad said Slytherin is the best house, and Griffindor the worst. You don't know anything." He said as he stood up to.
Aurora walked up to him, glaring him down – he was shorter than him – as she saw him clench his jaw. "Yeah? How do you know that, Snapey? You ever been to Hogwarts or know any second years?"
To avoid more conflict Diya jumped up, "Alice is a second year." She pointed out as Alice glared ather slightly for putting her in the spot.
Aurora and Severus looked at Alice expectantly, all four of them ignoring Lily's questions , wanting an answer about whose the best house. "Well?" Aurora asked.
Alice smiled as Aurora noticed the red yellow tie around her neck, "Griffindor obviously. But I could be –" she couldn't speak much as Aurora whooped and looked at the silent fuming Snape with triumph, "–biased." She finished but no one heard as Lily started asking Snape questions as Aurora left laughing.
Alice and Diya exchanged a glance. Both agreed on one thing, Aurora is chaos. Now chaotic evil or chaotic good, that was to be decided.

Remus – the new boy – had introduced himself to the now extroverted boys and the three were chatting about Quidditch teams and houses when Aurora came back inside, laughing silently.
All talks stopped as the boys looked at her in question as she looked at them. "All bonded? Good. " She said as she sat beside Sirius once again as the boys still didn't speak up. "What?" She said as their stares didn't stop.
"What happened with you and Lily?" Sirius questioned.
"Oh nothing. I informed her of what a big mistake she would make in choosing Slytherin and now she's grilling Snapey." She grinned as the boys laughed.
"So. What house you want to be in Rora?" James asked as he looked at his bestfriend.
"If what Alice said is true, I'm going with Griffindor." She said as the boys whooped and cheered.
She laughed as well – their happiness was contagious – as she asked, " I know about Slytherin and Griffindor. Now what are the others?" She asked as the Sirius and Remus looked at her in surprise as James nodded in understanding. "I'm a muggleborn." She explained as Sirius and Remus nodded.
"No no, you're a muggieborn Rory." James smirked as Aurora glared at him as the boys laughed.
The next hour was used in explaining Aurora the four houses, and even quidditch.
"So, let me get this straight. The best teams are Chudley Cannons and Holyhead Harpies?" She concluded the hour long monologue.
The boys nodded as she laughed, "For me it's Holyhead Harpies." She concluded for herself as Sirius and James groaned while she shared a high-five with Remus. "Why? We spent so long on explaining Chudley Cannons!" Sirius groaned.
"Duh. Because it's consisting full team of girls. Girl power !" She cheered as the boys groaned dramatically but laughed as well.
"What's your wand type?" Remus asked Aurora and the others. "Mine's 10¼", Cypress the core was unicorn hair." He said proudly as Aurora tried to remember hers.
"Mine's 10", Mahogany and dragon kneazle whisker. Its supposed to be really rare." Sirius said as he took out his wand to show them.
"Mine's 11", Mahogany and dragon heartstring core.
"Mine's 12", Willow with the Basilisk tail core. " Aurora said as the boys gasped.
"Really? But I thought Ollivander only worked with three – or maybe four in Sirius's case – cores? How did you get the Basilisk's one? That's so cool!" James said as he took Aurora's wand and held it up in the air, as if expecting it to burst into flames.
"I don't know, he just said that it wasn't him who made it. Said someone gifted him, someone he knows not. Is being confusing a wizarding trait or something? Do we all have to speak in confusing riddles to sound like wizards? If that's true then count me out. I'm horrible at riddles." Aurora grumbled as she snatched her wand from James' hand and frowned a bit, but soon laughed,"Kneazle whisker? Are they even real?" She laughed as Sirius nodded.
"Yeah, they're like normal dogs but cuter and more tails."
"I agree on the dog part, and you are definitely cute, but where's the tail?" Aurora jokingly peered behind hum as Sirius swatted her head away as the four laughed.
All laughter soon died down as James and Sirius went to the bathrooms to get changed , leaving Remus and Aurora alone. Remus was about to leave when Aurora gasped. "What? What happened?" Remus looked at her in alarm but Aurora laughed.
"Nothing! I just, I don't know your name!" She laughed as she said, and even Remus let out a laugh.
"Remus Lupin." He said as he took out his hand towards her.
"Aurora Evans." She said , shaking the extended hand as they both grinned once again.
"Nice to meet you Remy."
"Nice to meet you Rory."
