Reality can be confusing sometimes. Especially for someone who had seer blood. Yes, after some time spent in the library with Remus, Aurora had come to the conclusion that she had seer blood. It was a plausible theory, seeing that it was taken as a fact that muggleborns had to have magic from somewhere. One cannot have a mutation in gene without any history of mutation from before. That's how evolution happens, all living organisms evolve from somewhere, where that is no one knows. Although many have had their theories.

But then one might ask, why didn't Lily have this trait? They share the same blood, don't they? And that was Remus' question when they came upon this conclusion. The answer to that is that Lily and Aurora – although are twins – were fraternal, not identical. Two different zygotes, two different sets of genes, and two different sets of DNA. And that's how they came to yet another conclusion that Lily just didn't have seer blood.

Good for her, Aurora bitterly thought. Her insecurities of being different than others hadn't sprung up from air. She was a sixth year after all, she had had her fair share of bullying. More than Lily, because she wasn't afraid to retaliate back. And she did it mostly for her twin, because she knew Lily couldn't handle this much hate, that too over something she had no control over. Aurora could handle it all, but for some reason it had increased tenfold since last year. The bullying had gotten worse, she was receiving hate mail – something she had to always be careful of never opening in front of her boys – and even mean jeers in the hallways. She always had insecurities since she found out about her siphoning abilities – and the bullying over her blood status didn't help - even if all her friends told her it was nothing to be ashamed of, infact she needs to be proud of it. But Aurora didn't want this, she didn't want this power of simply taking someone's lifeforce away with a flick of her wrist. Even magic needs to have it's limits somewhere. Killing someone is killing someone, no matter what name you give it.

"Ibis, we have Quidditch practice in the ground, come on!" the voice of James broke her out of her thinking - one thing she's been doing quite a lot these days – as she smiled widely.

If there was one thing she loved more than Potions, it was Quidditch.

"Coming Prongs! Is Moony coming today?" She called out to the fast disappearing boy as she ran to catch him.

"You tell me, you're his bloody girlfriend." James grinned as Aurora made a face and smacked the back of his head – hard.

"Ow! What the bloody hell was that for?" He said as he winced, rubbing his wound dramatically as the duo finally reached the grounds.

"You know what for. Now come on, don't be a wuss Captain." She teased as James laughed. Her laughing turned into a smirk when she noticed something.

"Remus might not be here, but someone else is." She said as she nudged him pointing at someone. James looked at that direction, and blushed a deep red. Instantly puffing his chest out a bit, he took up charge as he walked with more purpose towards his team.

Seeing Lily does that to him, Aurora thought as she internally laughed but joined him.

Her issues with Lily might not have been resolved, but that doesn't mean she stopped rooting for her bestfriend and twin sister.

"That session was good, we have a good chance of beating Slytherin for good this year." Sirius said as he wiped sweat off his forehead with a towel as he walked beside James and Aurora out of the field. Sudddenly Aurora made a gagging sound when Sirius chucked the dirty towel at her, and was practically steaming from her ears as James and Sirius laughed their asses off.

Rolling her eyes, she flicked her wand as both the boys levitated and turned upside down.

"Sorry Ibis!" James yelled as his arms flapped around messily as he tried – and failed – to keep his robes from falling on the dirty ground.
