"Why did you even take Divinations Ibis? Professor Mopsus is most likely a phony ."
"I take it because I need to make sense of the shit I dream at night. Why do you Padfoot?"
"Because I wanted to irritate Mummy Dearest, and because I was bored." Sirius said as the two reached the said class. Both sighed in designation, none of them wanted the class , but while one of then could leave whenever he wanted to, he didn't because the other had no choice but to attend, and he didn't want his bestfriend to be alone.
Aurora shared Divinations with Sirius and Ancient Runes with Remus. She loved Ancient Runes, same with Remus so that was a matter solved. But both Aurora and Sirius had to struggle to keep their eyes open as Mopsus drones on, the Agarbatti and dhoop in the air making it extremely difficult as the fragrance of soft lilac and lavender hit their noses as soon as the two entered the rooms. Concealing an immediate yawn, both of them sat down as they waited for the teacher to come. Yes, waited.
They were early for once.
Na, Mopsus was just late today. She thought just as Mopsus entered with an unfamiliar lady.
"Class, I have a special guest for all you budding seers today." Mopsus monotonously said as the class' attention was grabbed by the lady who was beside their Professor.
It was a dodgy little lady, with big round spectacles and wierd clothing . She was a timid shy, but the most weird character about her were her darting eyes. Aurora couldn't help but note how the lady was ready to run.
"This is Sybil Trelawney, granddaughter of the famed seer Cassandra Trelawney herself. She'll be taking the class today, so consider this a treat. I'll be going now." Somehow Mopsus could make the most fascination and cheering conversations the dullest.
"Today I saw us studying dreams and what they hold in our futures. So start thinking and writing down what you remember from your dreams!" The new lady spoke, which sounded graceful yet chalky at the same time. Why, Aurora doesn't know.
She exchanged a glance with Sirius.
Since third year, Aurora started dreaming these bursts of 'visions' as she would call it, mostly consisting of a baby with black hair and green eyes. It varied, and sometimes pained her in real life, like when she woke up screaming when she and the boys were out camping in summer. Since then she told them almost everything everytime she had such a dream. That was the purpose of her taking Divinations, to get down to the root of the problem. It was just her luck that her first class in sixth year was about dreams.
"This is the perfect timing ain't it?" Sirius muttered as he doodled in his parchment paper with a pen. Another muggle invention Aurora had introduced him to, and one he had religiously used since second grade once again to spite his mother.
"Agreed. I'll talk to Trelawney after class so don't wait up for me." Aurora muttered back as Sirius shook his head.
"I'll wait, you need to tell me everything afterwards." He said as Aurora sighed but nodded.
The class took forever to end, and Sirius and Aurora had taken to doodling on the desks due to boredom. Her parchment was a previous one, where she had already written all that she had dreamt of earlier, kind of like a diary. She carried it in every Divinations class, hoping that Professor Mopsus would someday pick up a topic related to dreams. Or visions, or the art of 'seeing'.
The bell rung and everyone ran out, Sirius went out too but after giving Aurora a pointed look to which she nodded.
"Professor?" She timidly asked the woman, not knowing what to call her as the lady turned around, shocked to see Aurora as she gasped.
