Aurora watched as Sirius left the Hall as she nudged James and nodded in that direction. Both shared a questioned look but decided to follow Sirius. After bidding goodbye to the group, ignoring Lily and Remus' inquisitive glance they set off after the young Black.

Sirius wasn't far away per say. The first corner they turned to, Aurora and James found him. But mentally speaking, that boy couldn't be far from home. The eleven year-old's brows were scrunched up, eyes faraway as he ignored James who was calling out to him.

"Siri?" Aurora softly put a hand on his shoulder when Sirius finally snapped from his thoughts as he looked at her.

"You alright mate?" James asked as Sirius looked at him, although he didn't say a word.

"My mother has written me letters like those Diya recieved a lot." He finally mumbled after a brief moment of silence. James and Aurora exchanged a worried glance at their friend's words.

"Why didn't you tell us Sirius?" James asked as he stood on Sirius's other side.

"Because I didn't think it was bad. I still don't know if what she said about me is wrong." He has whispered the words so low Aurora had to strain her ears to listen.

"Can we see those letters Siri?" Aurora asked, and breathed a sigh of relief when Sirius nodded.

The trio remained silent as they went to the Griffindor tower; their classes were over for the day so they were tension-free (not like skipping classes made them tense in the first place, that was all Remus). They climbed up the stairs silently as they entered the empty room. Sirius shuffled through his trunk, and slowly took out one letter and gave it to James.

Aurora knew there were more so she just rolled her eyes, pushed him aside,  ignoring his protests and searched through his clothes. Out came nine more envelopes.

James was reading the first one as Aurora started reading the second one.

Sirius Black.

We have sent letters to Dumbeldore concerning the mistake the hat made with placing you in the wrong house. Have it changed at the earliest. My eldest son, a part of the Noble house of Black, won't be in the house of freaks who house those of filthy blood.

Take care of the problem at the earliest.

Walburga Black

Aurora didn't say anything for the next ten minutes, and even James was silent. She stood still, sitting straight on Remus' bed as she saw from the corner of her eyes that James was sifting through the ten letters, ans judging from his disbelief, all the topics of the letters must be on the same topic as that which Aurora read.

"She just cares about me. That's all." Sirius tried to justify it, but that's when Aurora had enough.

"Sirius I'm pretty sure that's not considered care." Aurora replied back in a soft voice even though she was very much angry with Sirius' mother even if she had never met the woman before.

Does it really matters which house they're being sorted into? If Walburga is anything to go by, yes. She's treating Sirius being in Griffindor as if it's a disease, and it's cure is him simply shifting to Slytherin. As if it was that simple. Not only that, seeing his fallen face, Aurora could feel that all Sirius wanted was acceptance from his family, and somehow these twisted words of his mother became a sort of acceptance and love to him. But in reality, as James and Aurora knew, it was anything but.

The option to choose. That's what is really required for the children to grow. Being pre-destined for something has never turned out good for anybody, let alone a child. And from what she just read in one paper, Aurora could just feel the damp , gloomy times Sirius spent in his household, never able to grow up a child, never to make mistakes. Always to behave properly. Yeah, Aurora always hated those kind of kids. Always stayed away from them when she and Lily would go to the park.

But she knew Sirius was anything but a spoiled child. Yes, he did behave like a brat most of the times, but inside she could feel his need, his want for something permanent. Something to call his own. Blame it on her siphoning powers, but Aurora could feel what he was feeling, and it was crushing.

"Sirius your mum needs to accept that you're in Griffindor. Not just accept, should be happy about it. Its okay if she had thoughts earlier of you being in Slytherin, bloody hell, even my mum wanted me to be in Slytherin just like her. But my mum accepted the fact that I was a Griffindor like Dad. Yours should too." James said as Aurora vehemently nodded while Sirius looked at the two.

"You shouldn't feel sad for something you have no control over Siri. If you don't belong with the snakes, example Snape" Aurora said with a shudder "then you don't belong with the snakes. You belong with the lions. Be brave, be strong." Aurora could see Sirius' eyes welling up, but her rambling cut him off when he tried to open his mouth to say something, effectively ruining the mood,"But don't be stupid, most lions are known for being stupid. Its the lionesses who can keep everyone in check. That's why I'm here with you bloody lot." She said as James and Sirius gave her identical offended look, all tears gone from Sirius' face and Aurora knew she was in trouble.

"Uh oh." She said as she sprinted off, running as fast as her tiny feet could carry her, jumped above a couch, and reached for the stairs of the girls dormitory, knowing the charm there would be helpful for her. But she was too late, as soon as she had kept one foot on the stairs, the other was caught by someone's hand and off came both Aurora and the other person tumbling down into a heap of mess.

"Ow!" Both shouted as Aurora looked at the one who tripped her.

"Remy what are you doing!" She groaned as she flopped down on the hard floor as she heard Sirius and James laughing with Peter who must have come with Remus. The girls weren't around so she assumed they were in the library. Nerds, all of them.

"I hate you bloody lot." She muttered as she put her head back on the floor, her cheek squished up as she looked in the opposite direction to see that no one was helping her or Remus to get up. Both laid there groaning in a pile of bones and flesh, while her other friends just laughed at their expense.

"Such best friends huh?" Remus said to her as she nodded.

"They need a good lesson, don't you reckon?" Aurora mischievously said as Remus'eyes lit up.

"What are your thoughts on some dancing to stop that laugh?" Remus said as Aurora giggled and nodded.

"TARANTALLEGRA!"
