"You can't be serious. Remus? Our Remus Lupin?" James breathed and this time even Sirius didn't joke on his name.
"It makes sense! You tell me, who is the person in first year covered up in scars, has chocolate brown eyes, and is always fidgeting around as if scared of his own shadow?" Aurora said as the boys' eyes widened almost comically.
"Bloody hell. Remus is a werewolf." James whispered as Sirius lay silent.
"But we don't care, do we?" Sirius said warily.
James shook his head , "No. I don't think it should matter. He's our friend."
Aurora nodded. "Yeah, besides in real life he's such a softie. Jesus of all the people, Remus." She still couldn't wrap her head around the subject.
"What if we're wrong? Guys, we don't know for sure if it's Remus." Sirius pointed out as the two nodded.
"But the scarf, the scars, and now that I think of it, once a month he's always dissapearing in the night and ending up in the medical room, completely covered in new scratches and almost dead to the bone. I'm almost 99% sure it's him, even if I don't want to be." Aurora mentioned, her heart tugging for the messy brown haired boy.
Of all the people, he didn't deserve it.
"So how do we tell him?" James said as Sirius and Aurora looked as if he's lost it.
"Are you bloody insane? He'll run away faster than Rory does when she sees pancakes!" Sirius whisper yelled as Aurora glared at him for a second in offense but then looked back at James to nod.
"It should be on his terms . Clearly he doesn't trust us much, and us just popping this new knowledge on him will sure be the nail in the bed for him as he bolts out!" She said as James pouted.
"But we're best friends now! He should trust us!" He whined as Aurora and Sirius face palmed.
"Mate, you tell me. If you were turned into a furry ball every month, would you tell me. Like, 'Hi! My name's James potter and I'm a werewolf!" Sirius said as Aurora sniggered on seeing James wince in realisation.
"Yeah. Now that you mention, no I wouldn't." He said as he lowered his face in his hands.
"But we still should tell him. Maybe we can help in some sorts." He jumped up again as Sirius and Aurora looked at him in alarm.
"I agree, we should tell him. Maybe by sharing that burden he might be happy. Knowing that he doesn't have to hide it with his friends." Sirius shakily said, looking at Aurora who still had a disapproving expression.
"I still think it should be his choice. But no matter what , I won't stop being his friend. Would you?" She said with finality as she looked at the two boys , who shook their head vigorously.
"No." Both said as they all stood up.
"Well then." Aurora said , stifling a yawn, "I'm going to bed. Before you get another idea of getting us killed or worse. Bye doofuses." She waved sleepily as she turned around, walking towards her dormitory as the boys exchanged a glance.
"She's something else, isn't she?" Sirius said as James nodded. " She is." He nodded as both of them went back to their dormitory.

It was morning, and fortunately it was a Saturday, so no classes. And usually, that meant that Aurora could sleep in. But not today.
Aurora grumbled as she got down from her dormitory, still sleepy yet as soon as she tried to put her head on the pillow, sleep would fly away faster than a Nimbus one thousand. So she had no other option but to get up, ignore her – for once – sleeping sister and go down to the common room with her potions book in her hand.
