Cheryl and Toni have been dating for 5 years. they are both graduated from high school and on their last year of collage.
"V I've been hinting at Toni for 2 months at least now and still nothing" Cheryl said sitting in her apartment sipping a glass of wine with Veronica while Toni was out.
"Maybe she's waiting for the right moment"
"It's been the right moment for a year now" Cheryl said rolling her eyes.
"I'm sure she's ready just busy"
"Yeah well if she is busy, it's sure taking her a long ass time to Finish her work" Cheryl took a long sip of her wine finishing it.
"Why don't we..." Veronica reaches out to grab cheryls glass from her. " Go our tomorrow night to get your mind off all this"
"Yeah sure, why not"
"Awesome! Now let's forget everything" she said and grabbed Cheryl's hands to help her stand up off the couch. Veronica blasted some music and started dancing. Cheryl have her a weird look but joined in and they danced for the rest of the night.

"I'm so nervous" Toni said as she sat at a booth at pops with Betty and Kevin across from her.
"Don't be, its time Toni" Betty said
"Yeah, and if even if she doesn't say yes I'll buy you a chocolate cake" Kevin said sipping on a chocolate milkshake. Betty look to her right giving him a weird look.
"Wow thank you I feel so much better. I don't even like chocolate cake"
"Yeah but I do" Kevin got a whack to the arm by Betty.
"She's going to say yes Toni. Trust me" Betty looked Toni in the eyes
"I just want it to be perfect, it's scary" Toni picked at her fries.
"Yes but that's normal, she literally gives you heart eyes every second of the day" Kevin said taking one of Toni's fries.

"Okay Veronica I'm serious, where are you going. This is not the way to the club" Cheryl said as Veronica drove down a lightly lit gravel road in the midsts of the night in her Black Jeep Durango.
"Don't go pissing you pants just trust me"
"Whenever you say trust me I've learned that I definitely shouldn't" Cheryl said looking out the window at the black night
"When have I ever been untrustworthy?" By the look on Cheryl's face multiple times.
"Well there's when you told me to close my eyes on the electric skateboard"
"That's not my fault, I didn't think you would hit a street lamp" she rolled her eyes
"And the time you lied about picking me up from my dentist appointment"
"Okay I was a bit late" Veronica shrugged
"I was waiting there for 2 hours for someone to pick me up. You didn't even pick me up I got Kevin too"
"Okay maybe once I've lied then"
"Or when you-" Cheryl started
"OKAY! Okay I get it I'm a bad friend but trust me this time when I say you should" Veronica looked over at Cheryl with a convincing look.
"...fineee" Cheryl agreed.
"Looks like we're here. Now close your eyes"
"Are you crazy" Cheryl semi yelled
"Just do it" Veronica go out of the car and opened Cheryl's door helping her out. Veronica led her to a park full of trees and lights hanging around a lot of them.
It looked like a giant Pinterest picture at night. Veronica turned Cheryl away from Toni who was standing there in a pants suit with a smirk on her face.
Before Veronica walked away she gave her two thumbs up and mouth good luck. Toni gave her a look and waved her off.
"Okay Veronica funny joke can I open my eyes now" Cheryl's said still with her eyes closed facing away from Toni.
"Open your eyes" a voice said that Cheryl instantly new. A voice that she had spent days listening two on FaceTime and in her apartment just sitting on a couch cuddling. Or at a fancy restaurant laughing at some joke Cheryl made.
Cheryl opened her eyes seeing the lights in the trees. She turned slowly look at her surroundings and finally facing Toni, and took her in. She honestly is breathtaking.
"Toni what is all this" Cheryl said standing in shock as Toni walked closer.
"This, is something you've deserved for a long time. Something that I know I should've done sooner but I was just scared... for no reason at all because you are the only one that could ever make me happy like I am" Toni said taking Cheryl's hands in hers
"Toni-" Cheryl said with tears Itching her eyes threatening to spill.
"You don't have to say anything, I just want you to know I will always love you" Toni said getting down on one knee still holding Cheryl's right hand with her own.
Cheryl's other hand went to her mouth in in shock, not sure if she should scream or cry from happiness.
"Cheryl majorie blossom, will you marry me?" Toni asked taking out a box and opening revealing a ring with a diamond on top.
"I-I... YES, yes of course" Cheryl agreed, tears finally coming out of her eyes as Toni smiled and put the ring on her hand.
Toni stood up, grabbed Cheryl's waist and pulled her into the biggest kiss ever with Cheryl's arms wrapped tightly around her neck. They stood like that for a solid 30 seconds until kevin came running out cheering
"Kevin! we told you to wait" Veronica and Betty came running after him. Cheryl and Toni both look over laughing.
"We're so happy for you guys" Kevin said hugging both of the girls.
"We've been wait for t to do this" fangs said coming out of the tree line with sweet pea and both giving each Cheryl and Toni a hug.
"I really didn't think you were going to do this anytime soon" Cheryl said holding Toni's hand
"I knew you were the one for a while I just was nervous and wanted it to be the most perfect evening possible" toni said kissing Cheryl's cheek once more.
