Toni raced down the street on her bike as fast as she could go. She didn't know what to expect when she got there but all she could think about right now was Cheryl and if she was okay. When she got there she stopped to the side of the road, all she could see was police cars and ambulances and in the centre two cars crashed into each other. The unknown persons car was crashed into the drivers door of Cheryl's vehicle and seeing this made Toni's heart drop she felt as if she was going to pass out. She ran over to the crash site.
"Have you seen a redheaded girl" Toni asked a bunch of people very panicked. Toni came to a stop when she saw a bunch of firefighters and paramedics surrounding Cheryl's car. she ran over to the car, police put their arms out to stop toni.
"Sorry ma'am you can't come over here" a older police officer said.
"That's my girlfriends car over there" she yelled not trying to be rude just scared. The police man let her through. She came closer to the car and that's when she saw crimson orange hair on the inside of the car on the drivers side.
"CHERYL!" Toni yelled and went to the drivers side door but it was blocked by the other car so Toni stood as close to the drivers door as possible.
"Toni!"
"Cheryl, I'm right here your going to be okay" Toni said letting a single tear drop from her eye.
"Why aren't you getting her out" Toni asked concerned.
"We can't the other car is pinning her down so she can't move.
This is when Toni started to get more panicked, as she took a look at Cheryl through the back. She could see Cheryl still in the drivers seat. The left side of her body was trapped under the other car. Blood was coming from her face and her right leg just above the knee. She shouldn't be thinking about this at the moment but she was sure, that of Cheryl wasn't in such a bad situation she would be complaining about the blood in her clothes and on her car seats but defiantly that didn't matter.
"Cheryl are you okay what hurts?" Toni asked Cheryl looking at her. Cheryl turned her head slowly to face Toni on her left.
"Everything" Cheryl mumbled a bit. Cheryl was tough Toni knew this but once that tear dropped from her eye she knew she was in a lot of pain.
"Toni...I cant move my leg" Cheryl's face turned worried and she started hyperventilating.
"Get her to calm down" one of the paramedics said to Toni. While they started cutting open the passengers side door.
Toni reaches over the second car and through the broken window for Cheryl's hand. Cheryl lifted her hand weakly and put it in Toni's, squeezing it.
"Cher, you have to stay calm, your going to be okay." Toni said trying to reassure Cheryl even though she was not very sure herself. Finally the firemen got the door open and one of the paramedics climbed inside checking Cheryl's body that wasn't covered by the car, making sure their wasn't any other serious injuries.
"We got the bob cat to lift the car off of her" one of the firemen yelled at another. Cheryl looked over at me again still holding my hand and started to freak out a bit knowing they were about to move the car.
"Hey pink" the paramedic yelled for Toni and she quickly walked over to the passengers side to talk with the paramedic letting go of Cheryl's hand.
