TRIGGER WARNING!!! ATEMPTING SUICIDE!!!

They say everything happens for a reason, that whatever happens was meant to be because that's what everyone deserves... or so my teacher put it. I guess I deserved to be my now ex boyfriend's punching bag.

I guess I deserved to watch my parents get murdered by demons. I deserved it right? I couldn't help but let a few tears slide as I made my way onto the roof of the tallest building I could find in this desolate city.

The wind was harsh that night. My hair blowing in all different directions. I walked over to the ledge and looked down. I had to have been at least 15 stories high. Everything happens for a reason.

I didn't even notice the strange whooshing. I guess I just figured it was the wind. I took my first step, then went for my second one. The one that would send my plunging to the ground. If not for the hand the grabbed mine.

I let out a gasp and look behind me. There was a semi tall man wearing a beige trenchcoat, along with a nice looking suit and he had dark hair and... beautiful blue eyes. "What are you-" "Don't do this." He interrupted.

I stared at him. I was sure that no one was up here with me. I don't know how he got here. "Please." He pulled me away from the ledge and brought me into an embrace. My eyes went wide and a blush spread across my face.

"Life is... too precious to just throw away. Tell me, why would you want this?" He asked me, still holding me close. I let out a soft sob. He held me a little tighter and rubbed my back. "Y-you wouldn't... believe me." I said in between a sniffle.

"Try me." He says. I took a few seconds to let out a few more sobs. "My-my parents (parents names), they were... k-killed by demons." I cried. "There was nothing I could do. I-it was... too late. I deserved it..." I finished.

"What?" He looked down at me. "What do you mean?" He asked. "My teacher told me that-" "No. Your teacher was wrong. Whatever your teacher taught you, unlearn it. You most certainly do not deserve this, and neither did your parents.

Suicide is never the answer. Your parents would never want this of you." I began to shake. I closed my eyes tightly and allowed more tears to fall. I heard that familiar whooshing again and all the wind stopped. Instead, I just heard a light thunder storm.

I open my eyes and look around me. We were in some barn that had all kinds of weird markings. (The same barn where Dean and Castiel met). "Where are we?" I asked. He loosened his grip on me. "Somewhere safe." He says.

He moved some of the hair that was in my face and tucked it behind my ear. "You know... I've met your parents. In heaven. They are... storing treasure for you. They spoke very highly of you, (y/n). They were right to ask of me to watch over you."

He says as he wiped away my tears. I stared at him with much confusion. "Wh-what are talking about?" I asked. "(Y/n)... I am an angel of the lord." He replies. I was in complete shock, disbelief, and awe. I took a few steps back.

"No that... impossible." That's when lightning struck. I nearly fell to my knees when I saw his shadow. There were wings! "Who are you?" I asked. "I am the angel Castiel." I was lost for words. Castiel approached me.

"Angel." I muttered. "(Y/n), I promise you that you're gonna be okay. From what your parents have told me, you are an amazing hunter and an amazing person. I had to see you for myself.

And when I saw you about to throw yourself from the building I..." He stopped himself for a moment and shook his head. "Please, promise you that you won't ever try something like that again. Your life is too precious to lose."

He reached out and gently grabbed my hands. I glance down at our hands then back up at him. "I promise, Castiel." He smiles at me. In turn, I hug him, to which he gladly hugs back.
