It was the forth of July and I wanted to see the fireworks. Thankfully, Sam and Dean thought it was a great idea. Infact, Dean went out and bought a whole bunch of fireworks so we could have our own show. I heard a knock on my motel room and quickly answered.

I knew it was the Winchesters because I saw the impala pulling up. "Hey, we're ready." Said Sam. I nod and they help me load the car with all the snacks and blankets I had packed. We drove to an empty parking lot.

I wonder if Castiel has ever been to a firework show. Hey, Cas. The boys and I are putting on a firework show. Come join us, jf you want." I prayed. Castiel and I were destined soulmates, however, since I'm still human, we can't exactly date yet.

We have to wait until I die and go to heaven. Cas says it's because relationships between a human and an angel are forbidden. I'm his soulmate because I'm able to see his wings. For now, he's my guardian angel.

Yeah, he's got a stick up his ass and can be harsh at times, and as Dean says, he's a dick, which I don't think is true. The reason for that is because Castiel treats me differently than he treats the Winchesters or anyone.

He's sweet and caring towards me. He watches over me all the time, even while I'm asleep. I know to most people that's creepy, but I find that comforting. Know Cas is watching over me helps me sleep. Whenever I have nightmares, Cas turns them into pleasant dreams.

We finally make it to the empty parking lot and the boys and I set up the fireworks. It was already getting dark. I grinned and set up the blanket and ate some chips. I heard what sounded like wings fluttering. "Hello, (Y/n)."

I turned around and see Castiel staring down at me. "Hey, Cas." I smiled. "I got your message." He says. I smiled more. He actually wanted to come see the fireworks with us! "Great! Have you ever been to a firework show?" I asked, offering him some chips.

He quietly declines them. "No. I've seen fireworks from time to time, but I've never been to a... firework show." He says. I nod. "Hey, Cas." Said Sam. "Come to watch the fireworks with us?" Dean asked.

Cas nods. "Yes. (Y/n) invited me." He replied. Sam and Dean both nod. "Well, you're just in time then." Dean grins. He opens up a beer and takes a swig. Sam, Cas and I sit down on the blankets while Dean went to light the fireworks. It was now dark out.

Dean lights the first few fireworks. I smiled and drank some soda. I didn't care much for beer. I blushed when I felt Cas slip his trenchcoat over me to keep me warm. For a summer night, it was quite chilly. I leaned my head on his shoulder and kept watching.

After about an hour, the grand finale started. I glance up at Cas and quickly kissed his cheek. He looks down at me. "What? Is that not allowed?" I asked, smiling innocently. He doesn't speak. He just grabs the back of my head and pulls me into a kiss!

It was sweet yet passionat. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me tightly. All while we kissed, dozens of fireworks were going off. I mean that literally. I finally had to pull away so I could breathe and look at Castiel in shock.

Yeah, we're soulmates, but we aren't supposed to date until after I die. What made him decide the bend the rules? The closest thing he's done to being a boyfriend was filling my motel room with roses on valentine's day. "Cas? I thought we couldn't-"

The angel cuts me off. "You opened pandora's box, (Y/n)." He looked at me with a serious look. My heart skipped a beat. Was he mad? "And you let me right in." He finished. I tilt my head, much like Cas does. "It wouldn't be the first time I've rebelled."

And with that, we kiss once more. "Get a room, you too." Sam grumbled. We pull away, both of us red in the face. I couldn't help but giggle. Castiel smiles at this. It's very rare that I see him smile. He leans down and kisses my forehead.

"Bout time you made a move on her." Said Dean. I blush hard and hide my face in Cas's chest. "Dean, (Y/n) made a move on me." Said Cas. "Damn it, Cas!" I grumble into his chest. I felt him snicker. "Alright, (Y/n)!" Dean shouted.

"You're such an idiot." Said Sam. "Bitch." Dean remarked. "Jerk." Sam retaliated. Cas shook his head. "Ass butts." He grumbles. I look up at him. "Ass butt?" I asked. He looked at me like he didn't know what to say. He just shrugged. I chuckled.

"I love you, Cas."

"I love you too, (Y/n/n)."
