Love Guru! Castiel X Reader~ REWRITTEN
It all happened so fast. The group I was in was killed by demons. I lost everyone I cared about. I had no one. I would jump from one abandoned store to another. I had no more willpower to fight.
All I could do was hide. I became a coward. I was all alone. That was until one day... I was found. A group of hunters found me one day pinned under some rubble that had fallen on me after the infected attack.
Their leader, Dean, brought me back to their base camp. "What's your name?" He asked while driving back. "(Y/n)." My quiet voice cracked, more than likely from dehydration. That, and it's been a few years since I've used my voice.
I was broken, it was easy to see that, even for this stone cold and fearless leader. I wasn't physically hurt, aside from some bruises. "Hang tight, kid." He says. Hang tight?
I was the only one in my group that lived. I was forced to watch them all be beaten, raped, torn apart and killed. I can't just hang tight! I was pulled from my thoughts when the car stopped.
"Home sweet home." Dean says to himself a bit sarcastically. He got out of the car and I followed. Camp Chitaqua. That's what the sign read. Once we got in, Dean locked the gate. "So what can you do?" He asked. I looked at him.
"Can you fight? Know how to use a gun? Anything?" He asked. "Y-yeah, but... it's been so long. I've been running rather than fighting and I've lost all my guns." I said. Dean sighed and looked around. "I mostly scavenge." I added.
Dean lets out a hum. "Scavenge, huh? You might actually be useful on supply runs." He says as we walk further into the camp. Dean's pretty cold hearted. We pass by a few people. They all looked at me. Dean casually told them I was new and to get used to it.
"Dean... where am I supposed to sleep?" I asked. He smirked. "Well, you could always bunk with me." He said, looking me up and down. I quickly glare at him. He put his hands up. "Fine. I'll see if Cas will let you bunk with him." He says.
"Him?" I asked. I don't know any of these people. I'd much rather sleep in the back of one of the cars than bunk with anyone. "Relax. He's not a rapist. He's just little weird, but he won't hurt you." Said Dean. That didn't really make me feel better.
I follow Dean to one of the huts and he tells me to wait outside. I sigh and sat down on one of the steps. About 10 minutes later and Dean calls me inside. I carefully walk inside and look around. The place smelled like essential oils and a hint of marijuana.
I look over at Dean and the man who was standing next to him. He had dark brown hair and blue eyes. He wore a blue worn out button shirt with blue jeans and brown shoes. He looked me up and down. "Oh yeah, she can stay." He said. The smell of marijuana was coming from him. He must he Cas.
"Thanks, Cas, and uh, sorry for dumpin her on ya." Dean says before leaving. I look in the direction he left. What a dick! I heard Cas chuckle. "Uh, sorry about him. He means well." He said. I look up at him. I'll admit, he's hot!
"Name's Castiel. But you can call me Cas. Everyone else does." He says. I nod and look down. "So... you gonna tell me about yourself?" He asked, making me look up at him. "I mean, if we're gonna roommates, then we should get to know each other." He adds.
"I guess that's fair. I'm (Y/n), I'm 25, and I'm a scavenger. I used to be a hunter. It was me, my older brother, little sister, and our parents. I came from a family of hunters, so I was born into the life. But uh... they died. Two years ago. We were ambushed by the infected.
I was the only one who made it. Been on my own ever since. That was until captain dick head found me." I explained. Cas looked at me. "Sorry for your loss." He says. I shrug. "Apocalypse, man. What're gonna do?" I said. I know I'm acting all casual, but it really hurts to talk about my past.
It was hard not to break down in front of him. I didn't want him thinking I was weak, which I am. "What about you? Tell me about you." I ask. "Well, I'm living my life the best way I can. Help out on missions, love guru sessions and of course, booze and sex." He grins.
I snort at the last thing he said. Dean wasn't kidding when he said Cas was weird. He just smirks and shrugs. He walked over to a table and picked something up. "Want some?" He asked. He was holding out a pill bottle. Great. I'm bunking with a junkie.
"They'll make you feel better." Cas offers. Maybe getting stoned for a while could help me take my mind off of everything that's happened. I hesitantly hold out my hand. Cas opened the bottle and dumped a couple pills in my hand.
I look down at the small pills for a moment before popping them in and swallowing right away. I look at Cas to see he's already downed some, probably more than me. It didn't take long for the effects to kick in. I was already stoned.
I leaned on the wall for support and Cas stood in front of me. "See? Now don't you feel better?" He asked. I chuckle and nod. "So much better!" I snickered. "Good." He tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. "Stick around for the guru session." He says. I nod.
He takes my hand and leads me to the front room. We both sit down on the floor just as a few girls walk inside. Castiel greets them with a smile. "Hello, ladies. Come, sit. We have someone new who'll be joining us. This is (Y/n)." Cas introduces me.
