Crazy! Castiel X Reader
"Cass, where are we?" I asked. I was with the Winchesters, trying to figure out this word of god stuff, next thing I know I'm in some garden. "Look over there, at the flowers." He says, pointing to a batch of flowers.
There I see a honeybee. I cringe slightly. I hate bees. I'm scared of being stung. Cass grabs my hand and walks over to the flowers where the bee was. "Uh, Cass." I say nervously. Cass had to practically drag me over.
The bee flies over to us and I squeezed Cass's hand. "Aren't these creatures fascinating?" He asks. "Yeah, Cass, they're terrific. Uh, earlier you were telling us about the scribe God?
And you said the name Metatron. Do you know where he is?" I asked, wanting to get back to the task at hand. He looked at me. "This is the perfect place for a picnic. I think we should have a picnic here."
I sighed. Always changing the subject. "Cass, can you focus please?" I asked. "Oh, I am focused, but not on the tablet." He replied. "Cass!" I groaned. "I told you, I don't want to fight." I shake my head. "Cass, you don't need to actually fight. Just help us out."
I look over at him, but he was now sitting on a white and red checkered blanket with a picnic all set up. "Sit, join me. I don't really eat, but I know all your favorite foods." He says, patting the seat next to him.
I sighed and sat beside him. He hands me a sandwich He made from a farm. "Please, accept this food." He says. "Alright, Cass." I carefully take the plate and take a bite of the sandwich. I was impressed. He really does know all my favorite foods.
"Castiel, why did you bring me here?" I asked. "This garden is so beautiful, so interesting. All the insects and plants are what give life. I wanted to show this place to my favorite human. That human is you."
I couldn't help the blush spreading on my cheeks. "I'm your favorite human? What about Dean?" I asked. He tilts his head. "What about Dean?" He asked back. "I thought... never mind." I sighed. I ate my sandwich in silence.
Castile looked at me with a wide grin. I rose an eyebrow at him. "What?" I asked. "Through all the darkness in this world, I still find light when I look at your face." I had to hold back the urge to snicker.
"Wow, Cass. That's very... poetic." Castiel smiled at me and I felt my cheeks heat up. "Thank you, (y/n)." I nod in response. "So, how did you find this place? I mean, who tends to it?" I asked. I gotta admit, this garden was impressive.
"This garden is all my doing." He replied. I looked at him. "Really? You did all this?" I asked. He nodded. "I wanted to watch the honeybees, so I planted this garden."
I looked at the flowers, then back at Cass. "You did all of this just so you could see the honeybees more?" He nodded. For a while after that, we just sat in silence, just enjoying the scenery.
I finished my sandwich and decided to try to ask about Metatron again. "Castiel, I uh... I know you said you didn't want to fight, and you don't have to. I just... need to know where I can find Metatron, or if there's a way to summon him?" I asked.
Castiel looked everywhere but me. He reached into the picnic basket and pulled out a plate with what looked like homemade chocolate chip cookies. "I made these just for you. Eat." He says, handing me the plate.
I sighed and took the plate. And I thought Sam and Dean were stubborn, Cass takes the cake. "These are really good, Cass." I said as I take a bite out of a cookie. I look up at him and froze.
He was barely an inch from me. "Whoa, Cass! Personal space, huh?" He grins and poked my nose, followed by him saying "Boop!" He slowly backed off. Okay? "You're happy, right? You seeing the flowers and enjoying the food I made you.
Does that make you happy?" He asked. That's such and odd and random question, but I guess it does. "Yeah, Cass. Why do you ask?" He chuckles. "I like seeing you happy." He says, reaching over and gently poking my nose a few times.
I could feel my whole face turn red now. "Th-Thanks." I said with a small smile. Cass scoots closer to me. "Don't get me wrong, you are absolutely beautiful... but when you smile, you're just adorable." He says.
My eyes widen just a little. "Castiel? Where is all this coming from?" I asked, chuckling nervously. He scrunched his eyebrows and tilted his head. "From me, (y/n). These words are coming from me?" He explained.
I couldn't help but chuckle and ruffle up his hair. What a dork. I guess as long as he's crazy, I may as well enjoy how nice he's being to me. He truly is an angel. After the picnic, I let Cass drag me around, showing me all the different types of flowers he planted.
He held my hand the entire time. I watched him pluck a few flowers from a patch separated from the rest and make a flower crown. Where did he even learn to do that? "Here. Please accept this gift." He says. "Gift?"
He carefully puts in on my head. I smiled shyly. "Perfect." Says, grinning with pride. I smiled and then hugged him. He didn't really hug back. "This is new." He points out, as I've never hugged him before.
"Yeah, Cass. You gonna hug back?" I teased. I head a faint chuckle from him before he hugged back. We sat back down, still hugging each other. I cuddled up to him and began drifting off.
Before I fell completely asleep, I felt a pair of lips on my forehead. "Goodnight my little honeybee." I hear Castiel say to me before falling into a peaceful sleep.
