A few days had passed since you laid your feelings for Akiyama out on the table for him. After proposing a date, you both decided to head your separate ways home. That night you could barely sleep. Akiyama had texted you and asked you how you felt about Friday evening for the date to which you gladly agreed.

So, it's Friday. You look yourself up and down in the mirror by your apartment door. You looked as comfortably cute as humanly possible. You wore that knit sweater that you loved and just felt like a warm hug. You had a bit of trouble deciding between a skirt or pants before deciding on pants, knowing it would get cold. Slipping on your favorite shoes, you were out the door and heading to Serena. It was getting a bit late and you did not want to be late to meeting Akiyama.

With it being a Friday and all, the streets of Kamurocho were a tad more chaotic than typical. The weekend had just begun and everyone was ready to party. You hurried in to the elevator that took you up to Serena and you walked in, thankful to see just Mariko.

"Welcome. Mm..you look rather casual for a work day. Did you go home and change?" Mariko smiled softly to you as you plopped down on a bar stool.

"Y-Yeah. Hehe.." You smiled shyly up to her and looked to the clock. Six, fifty seven. You were on edge now and it showed. What if he stood you up? What if this all was a mistake?

Mariko's smile turned motherly and she leaned against the counter. "What's on your mind? Hm? Do you have a date?"

"Yes, actually. Should be here any moment. I'm just nervous.."

Mariko smiled and patted your head. "Everything is going to be alright. I promise."

  "Thanks, Mama," you sigh.

"So who is the lucky man?"

  "W-Well..."

As if on cue, the bells attached to the door jingled and there stood Akiyama. He had traded out his usual attire for a black suit and tie. He was...breathtaking. He was the singlehandedly most handsome man you had ever seen in your life. You lost your breath as you stood up from the stool you sat on slowly.

  "A-Aki-.."

He gave that cunning, sexy smirk and brought his left arm around from behind his back to reveal a singular pink carnation. "For you," he said softly holding it out.

You took it and peered into it, far too astounded and embarrassed to look up at Akiyama. He had gone all out. Just for you.
