Akiyama had taken you all the way out to the outskirts of town. A small abandoned farm was where you two hopped out the cab you had taken out there. Akiyama had a briefcase with him that you originally didn't notice until a ways down the gravel path leading to behind the barn. Your mind began to race. It was...sketchy. Akiyama would never though. Right?

Akiyama noticed you slowing your pace and turned to you with a smirk. "Nervous?"

You nod and slowly point to his briefcase.

He practically jumped, following to where you pointed. Finally, he caught on to the reason behind your distance and shakes. "No, this isn't-... It's," he stuttered. "Here. Wait here. Trust me, okay?"

You pulled at your sweaters sleeves and nodded. "I trust you."

He jogged off to behind the barn, leaving you be. You shook you head in frustration. How could you allow yourself to think such horrible things? Still, after all the trouble you were thrown into when Kiryu was around, and the constant street fights and yakuza ordeals, you were often on edge. You had a close eye for detail and could sense when something was off. It became second nature living in Kamurocho. You couldn't afford to be prey in a city of beasts, and you were not about to be, either.

You had been spacing out for a while once Akiyama returned and gave his signature grin. "All ready?"

You jumped, snapping out of your disassociative state and looked up to the man. You nodded blankly and he gently took your hand. "This way," he cooed. Your heart pounded as he tugged you by your hand, leading you behind the barn. You still felt a sense of unease as you approached the corner. Akiyama gave your hand a soft squeeze then.

He stopped, his broad chest and shoulders blocking your view. "Could you, uh, close your eyes for me?"

"I suppose I could," you retorted, shutting your eyes.

Akiyama tugged you slowly around the corner and lead you a few steps forth. He helped you sit down, letting go of your hands once you made it down. "Okay, you can open."

Slowly, you opened your eyes and saw that behind the barn Akiyama had set up a midnight picnic for you both. He had set out a plaid red blanket atop the gras, that which he seated you on. There were a few candles he had lit, shoving them into the ground so as they'd sit still and there was no worry of something catching fire. To top it all off, you both had a beautiful view of the starry night sky.

Akiyama plopped down besides you and grinned. "It's not a lot but better than Kamurocho, no?"

The heat rose to your cheeks and you nodded, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. "Yeah. Y-You can see the stars so clearly all the way out here."

Akiyama nodded as he reached inside the briefcase he had place besides him. He handed you a wine glass and grinned. "A little wine never hurt, right? They say that a drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts."

  "Do they now?"

Filling both his glass and yours up a bit with the bottle of red wine he brought, Akiyama grinned. "Lets see what sober thoughts will leak through this evening. No Date to tease you or Mama to limit our drinking tonight. I've always wondered what your inner, sober thoughts were, _____. You come off like a girl trying to make it by," Akiyama inhaled, taking a sip from his glass. "Those eyes have always told me you have much more to you."

You looked to Akiyama astounded. He was your best friend but your emotions and brain's worst enemy. He had you figured out always. It has always been a matter of whether or not he wished to let you know that he knew. You looked from Akiyama to your glass, downing it without a second of hesitation.

  "_-_____!"

You set the glass beside you and looked up to the sky, a pink tint flushing your cheeks already. "The stars...they really are beautiful out here."

Akiyama nodded and refilled your glass, handing it back. "They are."

You looked to Akiyama and smiled softly. "Thank you for bringing me out here, Akiya-"

  "Shun."

  "Sh...Sh-Shun."

Your whole face went red upon saying his first name and you earned that sexy, hypnotizing smirk in return. "Good girl," he purred. "Call me that from now on."

  "O-Okay."

This would be such a long night. He had you under his spell and he knew damn well he could tease you and say or do whatever. You would be putty in his hands tonight.
