Riker imagine for Hope

(Im just a total rydellington shipper so thats I here xD)

"Hurry up Riker were gonna be late!" You yelled upstairs to your husband.

"Tell that to our son!!" He exclaimed.

A few minutes later Derek (your 5 year old) came running down the stairs.

"Hey little man, where's daddy?" He just giggled and pointed to his room.

You walked up ther to see Riker trying to get his tie untangled from a doorknob. You roll your eyes and help him. "How did you manage to get your tie tangled when you were wearing it?" You said fidgeting with the big knot.

"Derek said he wanted to show me something......then he tied me here." You rolled your eyes again.

"Well a normal person would stop a kid from tieing them to the freakin door handle!"

"He told me to close my eyes!" He whined and you looked at him.

"Only YOU would fall for that Lynch." You went back to work as he mimicked you playfully.

You were finally on your way after getting Riker's tie untangled. You were suppose to be at Rydel's baby shower by now but because the whole incident, you were running late. "Derek, why did you trick daddy?" You asked smiling knowing that Riker was looking at you as you drove.

"Uncle Rocky told me to see if he fell for it again." Derek said giggling.

"Again?!" You shrieked looking at Riker seeing him blush.

"A few months ago, Rocky said he had a surprise for me and I had to close my eyes. Then he tied my tie to a pole on the sidewalk."

You sighed dramatically. "And you fell for it again with our son. Who happens to idolize Rocky and do anything to be like him." You saw him blush again through the corner of your eye.

Y'all finally got to the destination and the first thing Derek did when you unbuckled him was run straight to Rocky to tell him the news. "UNCLE ROCKY, IT WORKED!!!! I TIED DADDYS TIE TO THE DOORKNOB!!!!!"

Rocky started laughing his butt off. "Seriously?! Oh my gosh Riker, how could you fall for that? Again?" Rocky asked wiping away some tears from laughing so hard.

"Shut up. I already got made fun of by Hope...... And its not that funny" Riker said whining the last part.

You couldnt help but hug him. "Aww poor baaaby." You cooed. "Come on, I have to see Rydel." You said pulling him.

"Hey Hope, I'm glad you could make it!" Rydel said cheerily.

"Well of coarse I came! Its your baby shower!" You said hugging her.

"You have any idea what it is yet?" Riker asked.

"Im going to tell everyone later." She said still smiling. Ellington came over and wrapped his arm around his wife listening to the rest of the conversation.

"Just be sure that if its a boy, it doesn't idolize Rocky..." he looked at Ratliff, "....or you will be the one getting tied up to random things."

Ellington stood there for a while and then a huge smirk started to spread across his face. "Yea....Rocky told me about that." He said still smirking.

"And thats why we were late.....cuz apparently Riker is still gullible enough to fall for the same thing from our little boy." You said starting to smile.

"Can we please just let it go?" Riker asked like a little child wrapping his arms around you.

"Hey,hey,hey you brought it up." He sighed playfully.

" Ratliff wanna go get the boys and play pool? Leave the girls to chat?"

"If you're trying to get out of this its not gonna work...but okay" you and Rydel laughed as the boys left.

You havent seen Rydel in a while ever since you had Derek so you two chatted up the whole time. You had talked about anything and everything. "So how is it like having a kid in your life?" Rydel asked wrapping her arms around her baby bump.

"It is wonderful. Its like you never loved anything so much. Yeah, it can be a little bit difficult.....like this morning. Especially if you're taking care of an extra kid like Riker."

"Oh, I know how that is too. I have Ellington." You both laughed for quite a bit. It was time to announce the gender of the baby so you gathered everyone up.

"Okay everyone, first I'd like to thank my mom and dad for throwing this baby shower. And I'd like to thank all of you for being here and I love you all. Okay, now to the thing you're actually waiting for. Me and Ellington are having.........a BABY GIRL!" everyone cheered and congratulated them two as the party went on.

You walked over to Riker as he talked to Rocky and Ross. You hugged him from the side and kissed his cheek.

"Hey baby." He said looking at you.

"Hey."

"Can I talk to you alone?" He asked.

"Sure." You said as you held his hand to take him to the other room.

"Uh oh" Ross and Rocky chorused laughing.

"So baby I've been wondering." Riker started.

"Wondering about what?" You asked looking concerned not really knowing what he was gonna say.

"How would you feel of having another baby?" He asked smiling.

You smiled back, "After what happened this morning?"

"Yeah, I would love to have another kid. I mean, I was so happy when you gave birth to Derek. I wanna feel like that again."

You loved seeing Riker be so happy when he was with Derek and the fact he wanted another child made you so happy. Plus, Derek has been wanting a baby brother or sister for quite some time. And you always wanted to try to have a daughter.

"Yes Riker! We can have another child!" You said jumping into his arms kissing him.
