I didn't notice someone was following me until I was a few feet away from the restaurant, Donya's.

I froze, my shitty senses kicking in making me turn around to find a wide chest blocking me.

My eyes slowly trailed up the suit clad body, until I met those damned steel eyes.

Silos.

Don't embarrass yourself, bitch.

"Mr. Kross."

"Zola" his deep voice rolled over my name, damn that should be illegal for him to say.

I watched his stone face, "I know that you are probably very worried about your girlfriend's reputation, but I am very good at my job and you will only make things worse, so please go back to Jasmine and relax." I put on my customer service face, as he stared back down at no emotion on his face whatsoever.

"Jasmine is my niece" he started, and if he thought that was going to throw me, he was right. My jaw dropped as the information tried and failed to connect. "I am going with you, but do not worry, I won't get in your way. Unless it's necessary." He finished, his eyes holding mine prisoner.

"Fine, but it might get crazy and some things might be said, don't react to anything I say. Most of the time I just bullshit people anyway, alright. So don't feel like your in any real danger, unless my right eye twitches, that means I'm about to black out and everyone should get as far away as possible. Okay?" I finished before turning back around and storming into the restaurant already feeling the steady presence of the hulking man behind me.

The second I shoved the doors open, I knew having Silos with me was an added bonus. Everyone froze, their eyes shooting from my crazed look to the giant of a man behind me.

The hostess took a small step away from us, before trying to force a smile to her face.

I held my hand up, stopping whatever she was about to say.

"Get Willa here, now." The hostess immediately nodded, fear etched on her face as she looked the two of us over.

She took off deeper into the fancy brunch restaurant that all the important people conducted business, important and rich.

I smiled, turning back to a stone faced Silos, "you know, every time I've been here I end up scaring the shit out of all the hostesses, and even a few waiters, but I've never actually eaten here." I rolled my eyes, looking around the fancy establishment.

Silos didn't respond, just stared at me.

"Zola, this really has to stop. The entire staff is terrified of you" Willa's voice sounded from behind me, making me turn.

Willa's short hair was in bouncy coils, framing her warm brown face. Her glasses reflecting the light and making the tired scowl on her face scream annoyance.

Willa and I had a love hate relationship.

She loved it when I left her alone and hated it when I showed up any time while she was working.

"Willa, we have an issue. It seems that someone has a tape of my client breaking in here and then sleeping with my other client. That person then made contact and asked for a million dollars in blackmail money. Do you know anything about it?" I asked her, trying to stay calm.

Willa pinched the bridge of her nose, "tell Jasmine, her and Jordan's nasty asses are banned for life, and the only person who saw that disgusting present they left on the security cameras are me, and Joe one of the chefs, he is in the kitchen now."
