There aren't a lot of things I like.

But Silos Kross is at the top of that short list.

The past week has been pure, unadulterated, fucking bliss from that man. He could start a billion-dollar business of selling purely himself.

It was very clear that whatever we've been doing was supposed to stay strictly between us. In front of others it was nothing but searing stares and small brushes of contact here and there, but alone I honestly think this man was going to kill me.

Just when I think he can't get better, can't go deeper, harder, he does and everything is shattered all over again.

I know I need to detach my emotions from this but he's fucking perfect.

It almost makes me sick.

Almost.

Nearly every day after work we meet up either at his office, sometimes mine, or even at my apartment and we watch movies, play games, eat, like small dates. They all end in me screaming his name until I cannot remember my own and then together we walk back to his place where we go to our own rooms.

It would be absolute fucking best if it wasn't for the two men that walked behind us, and then the other two that met us at the door of his apartment.

To say he hadn't taken the news of a second possible stalker well would be an understatement.

Deep down I knew he was going to be worse than David and yet I let the sex blind me.

He'd been tracing the lines of my body with his mouth when he'd ask what David had been talking about earlier that day.

Stupid, sex-blinded me hadn't thought twice before answering him.

I've never seen a man dress as fast as him before he was dragging me out of his car and into his apartment building, then forcing me to call David so they could discuss how I was to be properly protected.

The two of them became fast friends.

He hadn't asked who my father was when I told him about the stupid meeting I'd been tricked into, nor had he asked what someone would gain from using me as blackmail. He'd only taken one look at the pictures that had been sent and then looked at me.

I knew there was no getting out of the fucking protection detail even if I wanted to.

Something about him made saying no seem impossible.

Nothing new had come in about whoever my new fan was but the threat was still clear. My parents had been holed up for two weeks together and from talking to my Mother every day I could hear the love seeping backing into her voice.

I loved my parents, I did.

Both of them, but gross.

I didn't even want to imagine what my Father had been doing to make her sound like she could shit rainbows every time I talked to her.

I looked out of the windows of my office staring across the city, I could see Silos' building from here, how tall and grand it was compared to those around it.

It was stupid but I already missed him.

I stared at the setting sun, already hearing that most of the building had cleared out since it was already 6pm.

A knock came to my door pulling my attention to watch as Sky and Darla came in, Darla strode to the seat in front of my desk while Sky held back still a little unsure.

I smiled brightly at her, "what's up? Come sit down!" I huffed a laugh that had Sky relaxing and Darla rolling her eyes.

"Don't get use to is Sky, she's usually a monster, it's just because she's getting dicked down that she's all smiles and rainbows," Darla snorted.
