My knee was bouncing like a ball under the table, my eyes shoot around the table like darts.
Raina looked as cagey as I felt.
Silos had been side eyeing the hell out of me for the past fifteen minutes.
Aaron was playing his confusion off well, striking up conversations with my Grandmother and Cameron.
Raina shot me another helpless look, before she nodded towards the kitchen.
"I'm going to grab a water out of the fridge does anyone else want one?" I asked, quickly standing to my feet.
"Your glass is still full, Zola" my Mom blinked at me like I was stupid.
I looked over at Silos' glass which was half empty, "Silos might want some!" I deflect placing my hand on his shoulder, which caught everyones attention. "Raina could you help?"
"Yup!" she was out of her seat and flying into the kitchen with me in two seconds flat.
We rounded on each other, eyes wide. "You said he fucking moved!" I hissed at her.
She started to sweat before my eyes, "he said he did! Oh fuck, Zo, I'm going to pass out. What if he says something?" she snaps.
I hissed at her, "like what? I use to be in love with Zola but I fucked her cousin, Raina, twice by accident and then I stalked them for two months? That'll be real fucking natural to bring up in conversation," I snapped back at her, grabbing Silos a water.
Raina actually had tears in her eyes, "if Aaron finds out, who knows what this will do to our progress. Zola I told him he was my first" she whined.
I actually began choking, like hard.
"You lied and said what?" I snorted, slapping a hand over my mouth to stop from laughing.
She actually started hitting me, "its not funny!" she cried, "he assumed and I just didn't correct him!"
"How is he so dumb? You're definitely a black belt in fucking has he not noticed that you're ... I don't know advanced?" I snorted.
She let her head drop back to try and calm herself down, "I ... pretend not to know much and when I do something I act like its the first time I've tried it!" she whined.
I gave her a hard look, "you do see why this probably won't work out for you in the end, right?"
"Zola please!" she hissed, "you need to get Cameron under control!"
I blinked at her, "that fucker broke into my bedroom, into my car, and even into my locker. I had to pay to have him beat up so he would stop messing with me. I'm going to choke your Grandmother. I'm going to choke her."
"He's harmless, Zola, just a creep! Can you just make sure he doesn't say anything?" she begged.
I blinked at her slowly, "my first thought was to stab him. I have no control over him, Raina, he could say anything and probably will. I didn't make you sleep with him, and I surely can't figure out how he thought that was going to buy him points with me. Only thing in your favor is that he hates you, which you should remember clearly because he did try to run you over" I finished sharply.
She cringed, "I almost forgot about that."
"I'm not quite sure how, but okay" I shook my head at her.
"Just figure something out!" she cried.
I shook my head, "no, Raina. You're dressed like a hooker, and he hates you. He's a fucking psycho and he's lucky mom and Auntie are here or else we'd be fucking fighting in the streets. All I can give you is to watch his fucking knife and speed shit up, this is what you get for inviting Aaron without telling me" I sniffed before storming past her and getting back to my seat.
