𝖿𝗅𝗈𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖻𝗅𝗈𝗌𝗌𝗈𝗆 - 𝐧. 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐮

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐌𝐄'𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐘 as a genin. After yesterday, it felt weird to not have Naruto in the class with them. He was the only one who failed it seemed. The girl had hoped Iruka-sensei would give him another chance to become a genin.
The girl sighs resting her head on the table. Ayame had woken up early due to a nightmare, and it doesn't help that she's been worried about how her classmate is doing.

“Don't tell me you're sad that Naruto failed,” Shikamaru says from beside Ayame. The girl turns her head to him. “Don't you feel a bit bad at all?”

“No actually. It's his own fault that he failed.”

“You said that he actually failed. He may have passed, and we just don't know about it,” Ayame tells him and the boy shakes his head. “You were here when Iruka-sensei told Naruto he failed, the whole class was here.”

“There might be a chance though. Don't throw that chance away.”

“Whatever, Ayame.”

Ayame hears footsteps behind her, and she looks up to see Naruto with a big smile on his lips and the leaf headband on his forehead. Ayame nudges Shikamaru and she smiles.

“I told you so.”

Shikamaru looks at Naruto, and he asks, “What are you doing here Naruto? This isn't for dropouts, so you can be here unless you graduated.”

“Oh yeah you see this. . .open your eyes Shikamaru it's a regulation headband, we're going to be training together. How do you like that?” Naruto says pointing to his headband.

“Mhhm.”

“Congratulations Naruto,” Ayame says, and he smiles.
“I look great in this headgear like it was made for me, believe it,” Naruto says laughing.

Their conversation is interrupted by a crash at the door. Ayame looks over to see Sakura and Ino who had just crashed through the door. Ayame had left early this morning before Sakura, but it seemed she ran into Ino on the way.

“I'm first!” They both yell.

“I won again Sakura.”

“Give it up I had to look back to see you, my toe was at least a 10th of an inch ahead,” Sakura tells the blonde girl.

“Have you always been this delusional?”

Sakura's gaze moves over to Sasuke, and she ran over to his table where Naruto was. Ayame should have known.
“Move it.” She bumps Naruto out of the way making him fall down.

“Uh, good morning Sasuke,” Sakura days sweetly to Sasuke. The boy just glances at her.

“Mind if I sit next you?”
“Back off forehead I'm sitting next to sasuke,” Ino tells Sakura.

“I was here first.”

Ayame chuckles while Shikamaru mumbles from beside Ayame, “Here we go again.”

A bunch of others girls started to get into the conversation about who would sit next to Sasuke and the Uchiha boy didn't seem to be bothered at all by the chaos.

“This is such a drag,” Shikamaru mumbles. All of a sudden the bickering stop and all the girls looks at Naruto who was now on the desk staring right in Sasuke's face.

“Naruto, stop glaring at Sasuke!” Sakura screams angrily.

The two just kept glaring at each other. Ayame tried not to laugh at hoe comedic the scene actually was. If someone were to bump into Naruto, he would end up kissing Sasuke.

Ayame smiles just when the person in front stands up, bumping into Naruto, which causes him to fall forward and his lips smashes on Sasuke's causing the surrounding girls to let out horrifying screams. Ayame's eyes are wide as she realized that what she thought actually came true. She didn't expect that it would actually happen.

“What the—” Sakura mutter.

Naruto and Sasuke pulls back, coughing and gagging. The girls look at Naruto with a furious look.

“Naruto you are so dead,” Sakura says as she starts to crack her knuckles getting ready to hit Naruto.
“Hey wait it was an accident.” Naruto tried to explain to them.

“You're finished.”

“Hold on.” Naruto says scared before he gets beaten up to a pulp by the girls. Ayame didn't know if she should help him since it seemed like the girl were furious that Naruto was the first person to kiss Sasuke when it wasn't either of them.

The door opens and Iruka-sensei enters and everyone goes back to their seats. Sakura had taken her seat between Naruto and Sasuke already.

“All right everyone. As of today you're all ninjas. To get here you had to face difficult hard ships and trials, but that's nothing what comes next is far more difficult now you're only genin, first level ninjas,” Iruka-sensei tells them. “All the genin will be placed in 3-man teams expect for one 4-man team cause of the uneven numbers in the class. Each squad would be led by a jonin an elite ninja.” Ayame's eyes widen. An elite shinobi?

“Well someone's has to be in Sasuke's group, I wonder who.” Ino says.

“I don't know,” Sakura says

“We want each squad to have a balance of strength and abilities, so that's how we set them up. I'll now announce the squads,” Iruka-sensei explains. He begins to read the list of names of the squads starting from team one. Some seemed very satisfied with their teammates.

Ayame didn't know which team she would be put in. She's kind of excited to find out.

“Now, team seven, Ayame Haruno.” Ayame looks up as her name was called. The girl bites her lip.

“Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura haruno.” At the mention of his and Sakura's name he stands up cheering. It seemed happy to be in Sakura's team.

“Yeah!”

“I'm doomed,” Sakura says sadly with her head down. “I'm also on your team,” Ayame says from behind Sakura. Sakura glances back at her sister, with a nervous chuckle.

“And the fourth member will be Sasuke Uchiha,” Iruka sensei finishes.

“Yay!”Sakura stands up happily.

“I'm doomed.” Naruto says with his head down. Ayame looks over at the three in front of her. She would be in a team with Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto. She didn't know how that would work out but at least their team will at least have some interesting moments together.

Iruka-sensei goes on to the other teams. Hinata, Kiba and Shino was in a team together. Ino, Shikamaru and Choji was in a team just like how their fathers were. It was ironic and it seems Ino expected it. He finishes and just then Naruto stands up pointing to Sasuke.

“Iruka-sensei, why does a guy like me have to be in the same group with a slug like Sasuke?” Naruto questions.

“Hmm. Sasuke had the best scores of all the graduation students besides, Naruto you had the worst scores,” Iruka-sensei says causing everyone to laugh.

“To create a balance group we put the best students with the worst students.”

“Aargg.”

“Just don't get in my way, loser,” Sasuke says to Naruto making the boy angry

“Hey, what did you say?” Naruto asks angrily.

“Hard of hearing?”

“Knock it off Naruto! Sit down.” Sakura tells the boy which made him pout.

“Hmmmh, after lunch you'll meet you new jonin teachers until then class dismissed.” Iruka sensei tells them.
