“Ino. But why?”

“Hmph. I'm tired of you showing off to sasuke and trying to get all the credit,” Ino said with a smirk. Ayame looked at her three friends with a small smile on her lips.

“These leaf village worms will be sorry they squirmed their way into something that doesn't concern them,” Dosu said scaribg Choji. Ayame had kind of expected that Choji was here against his will.

“Are two crazy? What are we doing here these guys are bad news man,” Choji said to Shikamaru and Ino.

Shikamaru scoffed. “Dont look at me man, this was Ino's idea. But what are we supposed to do? Just sit back and let a girl do all the fighting?” Shikamaru said which made Ayame roll her eyes. They've been doing pretty good so far.

“Sorry for dragging you both into this. But we are a three man squad right? All for one and one for all?” Ino told her team-mates.

“Yeah, what's meant to happen will,” Shikamaru said. Ayame stood up and she walked toward Sakura. Shikamaru finally noticed the blood on her face. Why did he only decide to appear now? He should've been here to help her.

“This ain't teamwork! I call this suicide! Let me out of here! Please me go!” Choji said trying to flee but Shikamaru pulled the boy back.

“Stop moving, you're getting on my nerves,” Shikamaru said to his friend.

“Hehehe. Better a live sheep than a dead lion, right fatty?” Zaku said. Ayame looked at Choji to see that he had stopped moving and his eyes were hooded.

“Did I hear that right? What did that guy just say?” Choji asked Shikamaru as he glared at Zaku.

“You want to say that again?”

Zaku laughed, “I said you're smart to want to get out of here while you can, fatty.”

“Who are you calling fat?! I'm just a little chummy, okay?!” Choji scolded the guy as he got ready to fight. Choji didn't like the word fat and he always got angry when hearing it.

“That does it! Now it's personal! It's a fight to the death between leaf and sound!” Choji yelled.

“Good job. Thanks a lot. Now we got to live with him,” Shikamaru said to the Sound ninjas.

“Dont worry, it won't be for long.”

“Ayame, Sakura, your teammates are down. Look after them,” Ino said to the sisters. Ayame looked at Sakura and she nodded. Her gaze moved to Lee and she quickly made her way to him.

“Okay, team Ino, let's show them who's boss!” Ino yelled out. Shikamaru didn't seem as enthusiastic as Ino or Choji. She wondered if he was really ready to go up against the Otogakure shinobi.

“Got it!”

“Formation, Ino!” Ino yelled.

“Shika!”

“Cho!”

“Okay. Take it away Choji,” Ino said to her friend. Choji smoled nodding, “My pleasure. Expansion jutsu! Followed by leaf style taijutsu!” Choji expanded like a balloon. Ayame watched in amazement. This was the first time that she was seeing their jutsus. They fought against the Otokagure shinobis and she had to condemn them for their bravery. The three were fighting and even though it didn't seem as though they were making much progress in defeating them, they still did amazing.

“Did you really think you can beat us? Face it, you Ninja are just a bunch of hacks,” Zaku said in a cocky tone.

Dosu laughed, looking at Ino, Shikamaru and Choji. “You ninjas are just from a second rate village,” Dosu said. They had the upper hand as they were all rookies and seeing as how they were defeated, they weren't much of a problem for the three shinobi.
