“𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐌𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐁𝐈, 𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 painful. I don't want to kill you, but if you advance, I will have no choice. Then I will kill kindness in my own heart and fully embrace the shinobi way, then there will be no mercy. No turning back. This bridge will be the battlefield where our dreams collide. Now I must fight for my dream, just as you fight for yours,” Haku tells them.

“Please do not blame me. I fight for someone who is precious to me. I live for him and I face death for him, so that his dream may become reality. That is my dream and for the sake of that dream, if I must, I will act as a shinobi and take your lives.”

It seems as if Haku has finally gotten serious.

“Sasuke, Naruto, take this guy out. You can do it!” Sakura yells from outside. As much as they needed that now, they can't attack him impulsively. It just won't work.

Naruto again creates more shadow clones, but his attacks failed again. Ayame wasn't in time to catch him, and he landed on the ground.

“Naruto, stop, that won't work. You'll only use up all of your chakra,” Ayame warns him.

Naruto stands up again.

“One more time,” he says.

Ayame decided that to take her stance and watch Naruto. Ayame's gaze fell on Haku, and she threw senbon at Ayame and Sasuke but Sasuke jumped in front of the girl the senbon mostly cutting his back.

Ayame groans, looking down at the cuts on her legs now. She places her hand over Sasuke's back, and she heals him. “You don't have to heal me.”

“I don't have to, but I will. We need to keep you well if we want to beat him.” Naruto falls down beside the two of them. Naruto goes in again with his shadow clones, worrying Ayame even more.

Shadow clones took a lot of chakra, and she didn't know how long he'll be able to keep this up.
Ayame looks at Sasuke who's gaze seems to be on something, before she can ask they get attacked by Haku, the senbon piercing their bodies.

Ayame falls to the ground in pain. Naruto and Sasuke falls down beside her. It was no use, they can't see him.
Naruto does the same thing over again, but this time Sasuke used his fireball jutsu, and he almost got Haku.

The shadow clones started to disappeared and Sasuke used the fireball jutsu again. Ayame couldn't keep up, she just saw flashes of what was happening.

Naruto falls down and Ayame catches him this time. She helps him up, surprised that he could still get up.

“Naruto, can you do it again?“ Sasuke asks him. “Huh? Of course, nothing could stop me, believe it!”

This concerned Ayame. The shadow clone jutsu took up a lot of his chakra. And Naruto used a lot of clones. It was bound to be taking a toll on him.

While Haku was getting ready to attack, Sasuke told Ayame and Naruto to get outside, and for Naruto to attack from outside. But unfortunately, Haku wasn't letting them. They just got thrown back again and again.

Naruto decided to get up and run while Ayame was still on the ground. Sasuke used his fireball jutsu, but Haku dodged it, and he threw a senbon at Sasuke.

Haku kicks Naruto down just as the needles hits Sasuke's shoulder. Their situation looked pretty grim right now.

Ayame looks up just when she sees senbon flying her way. It hits a pressure point, momentarily paralyzing her. It would take her a while to regain movement.

Sasuke and Naruto starts running again to get out, but Haku comes out from the mirror, and she throws a needle at his leg, stopping his movement before she throws a few more needles at him. The senbons hits Naruto's back, stopping him also.
“Naruto! Sasuke!”

Ayame couldn't even do anything. She can't move her leg, yet. It will take a few minutes before she starts to move again.

Haku is far more experienced in battle than them. He had more experience, less emotion.

Sakura screams from outside and Ayame's eyes widen. “Sakura.”
What is happening outside? Is Sakura hurt? Where is Kakashi-sensei?

Naruto again stands up with the needles still in his back. Naruto gets up before he builds up his chakra before running towards an exit. Ayame gets movement back in her leg, and she crawls over to Sasuke. She helps with needles in his back, pulling it out.

They were surprised at how Naruto ran when he used up so much chakra. He ran, dodging Haku, but Haku was far too quick and attacked again. The needles getting pierced in his skin again. Ayame jumps up and she limps over to the boy.

She falls down beside him. He was barely conscious. Ayame removes the needles from his back.

She starts to heal his injuries. “Ayame, is he okay? Is he able to get up?” Sasuke asks the girl.

“I can only do so much right now. I'm no master. He's used far too much chakra at this point,” Ayame says to Sasuke.

“Do as much as you can,” Sasuke says.

Ayame looks up at Sasuke. He wasn't much better at this point. Ayame knew she would end up like them, and she won't be able to help them out.

Ayame hold Naruto's head on her lap. More needles come their way, but Sasuke blocked them. Ayame was impressed by how fast he was. Sasuke looks at Ayame and Naruto. He tells Naruto to get up, but Ayame knew he was in no position to fight. She can only do some healing for his injuries. He was exhausted, he can't push himself anymore.

Naruto starts to sit up and Ayame help to support him. There was no way Naruto could fight. He used up a lot of chakra and if he uses anymore she's afraid he'll end up dead at this point.

Haku keeps throwing the metal needles at them and Sasuke keeps on blocking them, but barely. He still gets hit by them.

Naruto was limp as Ayame tries to support him. Sasuke was protecting the two of them at this point.

Ayame tried to help Sasuke block them, but she couldn't do much. Sasuke did all the work for her.

The needles start getting aimed at Ayame and Naruto, luckily they noticed, and Sasuke pushed us away from the needles. Sasuke was reading this impeccably. Ayame didn't fully understand how, but she was glad.

Maybe they'll be able to figure out how Haku moves through the mirrors. Hopefully by the time they do, they're not dead.
