Misra enters the hospital room of Ayame to see Shikaku's son seated at Ayame's bed. The girl was still unconscious on her bed. Shikamaru immediately stands up when he sees the woman.

"Don't worry. I'm just here for her file," Misra says as she walks to the end of the bed. She still hasn't woken up it seems. It may take a few days but even Misra was unsure. She needs time to rest and recuperate herself. Misra excuses herself out of the room.

Shikamaru looks at the pinkette as he moves some of her hair out of her face. She was still unconscious and the doctors still didn't know when she would wake up. He was hoping someone would tell him, but they were unsure.

The Nara boy was currently alone with her. Her parents and Sakura had went home to get some rest. Team seven had arrived this morning but they haven't visited Ayame yet. He is grateful for that since he wasn't in the mood for Naruto's loud mouth.

"You troublesome girl. I told you to take care of yourself," Shikamaru mumbles to himself. The door to the hospital room opens revealing, Sasuke.

An unfamiliar burning sensation came to Shikamaru's body. He could only describe it as anger. Sakura had informed him that she saved Sasuke's life, risking her own life.

"Hey Sasuke," Shikamaru says to the Uchiha boy as he tries to hide the anger in his voice.

"How is she?" Sasuke asks Shikamaru as he looks at the girl. He felt guilty but he tried to push it to the side.

"She's fine."
Sasuke stares at Shikamaru as he frowns at the boy's hostile tone.
"What is it, Shikamaru?"

"If she ends up like this again, because of you we are going to have some serious problems," Shikamaru warns Sasuke.

Sasuke was slightly taken aback by the change of attitude Shikamaru showed. He was usually laid back and lazy. Something like this was very unusual.

"Hn, whatever. It's not like I asked her to risk her life for me. She did that on her own. I'm not responsible for what had happened," Sasuke tells him.

He wouldn't say it out loud but it made him mad, he needed her protection. But the anger he felt was nothing compared to the searing anger Shikamaru felt at that moment.

His body trembles as he tries desperately to stay calm. This boy didn't even care about her. Here she was willing to risk her life for him and he didn't even care.

"Listen here, Uchiha. Even if you told her not to, she would still risk her life for people she considers friends no matter how undeserving they are of it. So watch yourself because if you hadn't noticed you happen to be one of those people. If she ends up hurt because of something you do-" Sasuke cut Shikamaru off short.

"I don't care. She's not my friend."

Soon Sasuke's collar was grabbed by Shikamaru who didn't even realise what he was doing until it was done.

"Why you little-" He began but was again cut off.

"Stop it, you two!" Misra enters the room with Minha behind her. Minha immediately goes to Shikamaru's side and pulls hik away from Sasuke.

"This is a hospital not a battle ring," she scolds the two.

"If you want to fight, then go outside!"

"I'm sorry, Misra-sensei," Shikamaru apologizes. Misra sighs and she looks back at Minha.

"Minha, can you escort them out. I need to check up on her," Misra tells her subordinate. The girl nods and she gestures them the door. Sasuke leaves without hesitation while Shikamaru glances at Ayame before he leaves the room.
