chapter 19 - extra chapter

"I love you," Ian tells Mickey as they lay in bed on a lazy Sunday morning.

"You going soft on me Gallagher," Mickey asked, giving Ian that signature Mickey grin.

Ian rolled his eyes with a smirk. "Just say you love me too, jackass."

"I love you too Firecrotch," Mickey smiled.

Ian wanted nothing more than to propose to Mickey. To seal the deal. But for some reason he was scared. Scared that Mickey would say no, scared that this was all a dream and he's never going to get his happy ending.

"Stop staring Gallagher," Ian snaps out of his trance at Mickey's remark. "What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing," Ian shrugged. I should do it. Just ask him to marry me. Right now.

Mickey sat up at that response. "What is it?"

"Nothing Mick. "

"If you wanna fuck me just say that," Mickey smirks. 

"'S not that."

"Then what is it?"

"What do you want for dinner? I was thinking pizza or-"

"The fuck moves to Mexico to eat pizza?"

"We're here cause you can't legally be in Chicago out of prison Mick."

"Can't legally be in Mexico outta prison either- the fuck does that have to do with anything," Mickey's tone changes quickly and something tells Ian that this conversation just took a turn. "Are you not happy here? Do you wanna go back to fuckin' Chicago? Cause you didn't have to come back here with me."

"I didn't say I didn't wanna be here with you. I'm happy if you're happy Mick. I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else," Ian smiles at him and the hard look on Mickey's face leaves.

"Stop bein a fucking sap. You wanna order enchiladas or not?"

"Yeah, Mick. Let's get enchiladas."

"Gallagher you have a serious staring problem. You got something you wanna say to me?"

"Just thinking Mick. Don't make it weird."

"You're makin' it fucking weird by fuckin' staring. The fuck is your problem?"

"I'm just thinking Mick. Just give me a sec."

"I'm gonna go take a piss. You're being weird," Mickey gets up and walks off with a shake of his head.

Ian watches him walk away in silence. "I want you to marry me," he thinks.

"Excuse me," Mickey calls, whipping his head around.

"What," Ian asked confused.

"You just said you wanted to marry me."

"No I didn't."

"Just fuckin heard you Ian. You wanna marry me?"

"Of course I wanna fuckin marry you. That's now how I was gonna say it but I do wanna marry you."

"You gonna fuckin ask me or am I gonna ask myself?"

"Mickey-"

"On your fuckin knees. Do it right or don't do it all fuckhead."

Ian moves off the bed and onto one knee. "If you wanted me on my knees you could've just asked."

"I did. Now fucking propose to me."

"Thought I already fuckin did."

"If that was your proposal then fuck no. Now ask me right bitch."

"Mikhailo Milkovich, I've loved you since I was a fucking teen. I always knew we'd end up together in the endgame. We've been together for years and we've been through so much shit together and we're gonna continue to  go through shit together. It would make me the luckiest man in the world to marry you. To take care of you. Be with you through sickness, health-"

"All that shit," Mickey finishes with a small smile. "Of course I'll fuckin marry you."

"I got you a ring," Ian gets up and goes into his dresser. He pulls out a box containing a gold band and quickly slides it on Mickey's ring finger.

"You're gonna propose again later. With the ring," Mickey grins. 

"Later?"

"Yeah, I mean you're already on your knees. Kiss me then get to sucking."

"You'll really marry me?"

"Fuck yes I'll marry you. You're fucking stuck with me Gallagher."

Hiii, I know I haven't updated in a while and this isn't that good but I had to update. I had to get my mental health in check but I am back and I feel great. I'm gonna be more consistent. Happy Holidays everyone ! Thank you all to those who still read. I really appreciate you all.
