"Why are you so hard-headed? Why can't you just accept the fact that you want to go see Ian? What would happen if you just said it Mick?!"

Mickey shook his head. Mandy was pushing too many fucking buttons and he just wanted her to stop. "Fuck you Mandy. Of course, I'm fucking tired of seeing people I love hurt. But I can't do much about it."

"Mickey.. you're not 5 and Ian isn't mom. If you would just see him-"

"Alright," Mandy's demeanor changed. "You'll see him?"

"Yes, I'll fucking see him. Can't get on a plane or shit-"

"Yeah, yeah. You're still wanted. Thanks Mick. It'll mean everything to him," Mandy pulls him into a hug.

"You think he'll be like before?"

"What do you mean," she pulls back and he lets a tear fall.

"Before.. when he was yelling at me, saying 'leave me alone'. When he wouldn't even look at me," he runs his fingers through his hair.

"Mick, it'll be alright. Ian is strong. He'll pull himself through and we'll be there to help."

Mickey nodded. "Yeah, we'll be there. For him."
