Ino:

This would end badly but I didn't care. I couldn't bring myself to care that this attraction would prove deadly. That this love would be cursed from the start...

Sai was a cliff and I sprang off the edge emersing myself I the tide savouring every minute as I kissed him.

My lips encaptured his fiercely as he kissed back.

Slowly I felt the life drain from me...I feelt the colour leach from my skin as I grew limp in his arms...

I gasped as I shot up out of bed. Only this wasn't my bed at my tower I was in the middle of a huge forest.

The past weeks events washed over me.

I sat up, blinking slowly as the light hit my eyes. Just how long had I been asleep.

A voice filled ears from across the clearing. It was Sai...

"Oh you're awake? You scared me. Maybe you should rest more"

"I thought....I thought you were immune to the effects of it?" I was utterly confused.

I attempted to walk towards him but my knees buckled underneath me as if they had forgotten how to walk.

Just how long had I been asleep anyway?

Sai's arms wrapoed around my waist pulling me against him. Keeping me steady on my feet.

"You're not fine," he insisted. He gently tucked a stray strand of my blonde hair behind my ear.

My heart must have leapt into my throat as was unable to breathe or speak.
The events of that night waltzed into my mind once again...

The curse....

My curse...

"I've cursed you," he said the man who haunts me still....

"None will be able to resist you. But you must resist them or it will cost you your life...you will die a slow painful death. Every kiss every touch will drain the life from you until you fell into a deep eternal sleep...There is a way to undo this curse but you'll die before you figure it out," he laughed.

"Ino... You were unconscious for four days...."

I was at a loss for words.

I know but not every thing just the barest details. Tell me and I'll tell you what I know," he said reluctantly.

I nodded

So I told. I told him everything even the details I had failed to admit to myself. The things I had refused to acknowledge.

And to my suprize he did not judge me. He did not comdemn me for being a spineless coward. He listerned and then he spoke:

"Ino you worth more to your people alove than dead. You can still save them. You can still turn the tide in this upcoming war."

I placed my hand on his.

"If I do this and stand up for my people... Will you be there standing behind me everystep of the way? I need someone Sai."
