Back in Disney Town, Donald had no other choice but to explain to Queen Minnie and Princess Daisy about why he had caused such a commotion. He even went so far as to read out loud the letter that the King had addressed for him.
'Donald, sorry to rush off without saying goodbye, but there's big trouble brewin. Not sure why, but the stars have been blinking out, one by one. And that means disaster can't be far behind. I hate to leave you all but I've gotta go check into it. I'm going to look for Kratos. I know that it's been years since we've had contact with him, but he's the one who informed me of what might help us fix this mess. There's three people: one with a "key", another who goes by the name "Light of the Scared Flame", and finally, the third is known as the "Remnants of the Sacred Flame". Combined together, the "Light of the Sacred Flame" and the "Remnants of the Sacred Flame" are also known as the "Guardians of Lorelei". The Guardians of Lorelei and the one who carries the "key" are the protectors of light, as well as the keys to our survival. So, I need you and Goofy to find them, and stick with them. Got it? From what Kratos has told me, we need the Guardians of Lorelei and that key or we're doomed! So, go to Traverse Town and find Leon. He'll point you in the right direction. Also, be sure to take Chibiterasu with you. According to Kratos, Chibiterasu is the only who will know where to find the one who carries the key. P.S. Would ya apologize to Minnie for me? Once Donald had finished reading the King's letter, everyone was trying to grasp the situation, unsure of what to make of it, while Chibiterasu has been napping next to Pluto, in the castle library.
"Oh, dear! What could this mean?" Daisy asks.
"It means we'll just have to trust the king," says Queen Minnie, trying to be hopeful, for she is the queen, and she must be strong for the sake of her people.
"Gwarsh, I sure hope him and Kratos are both alright," says Goofy.
"Indeed. It has been years since anyone made contact with him; everyone thought that he had died, along with his family. So, why? Why now does he suddenly decide to make contact? Until now, the King was worried sick about him, wondering if he had actually survived the attack or not," Daisy says, confused by the man's actions.
To answer that question, Queen Minnie speaks up, knowing that the man has always worked in mysterious ways. "If he has kept himself hidden, he must have had a very good reason to do so. His actions have always had a reason behind them."
"Your Highness," Donald says, gaining everyone's attention. "Don't worry. We'll find the King, Kratos, the 'Guardians of Lorelei' and this 'key'."
The Queen gives her gratitude. "Thank you, both of you."
"Daisy, can you take care of--" Donald tries to say.
